Oh wow Lori such beautiful stitching and quilts. Thank you for sharing. Loved them all. I love the off white squatted pumpkin the best. I also love the small little especially the stems for crafting. 🧵🪡✂️🧵
Thank you for sharing all of the beautiful fall goodness! Your granddaughter's Halloween costume is going to be wonderful. I will look forward it when it is finished.
I just love the fabric choice for your "one red thread" piece! It is just stunning! I also really enjoyed seeing your fall display pieces and wool kits!
I love your videos, Lori. I think you are a wonderful artist in all you do. It is hard to pick a favorite pumpkin. Sometimes I’m in the mood for a shot of blue green, and other times I love a squat, misshaped orange one. I do love them in variegated over-dyed orange floss. Happy stitching!
I have no idea about pumpkin varieties, but I love them all. I found a couple of pumpkin decor pieces at Dollar General of all places. They are perfect to mount cross stitched or felted pieces. I have been looking for cream-colored projects but I love the blue green varieties too. You have quite the eye for gorgeous fabrics!! ❤❤❤
Your videos are always so inspiring to me...your stitching, wool applique, and quilting...all things I love. And like you, I love fall most of all. Once you finish all those wool quilts, your house will be immersed in fall! I think I would make your wool bittersweet & pumpkin into a wall hanging rather than framing it. That piece is gorgeous! Happy doing all the things and enjoy you trip to your daughter's!
I love white pumpkins, and have plans to cross stitch several acorn charts. I too love bittersweet and there's several more of those. I suggest hanging your white pumpkin and quilting in a neat Fall motif!
I made that stuffed crab apple hill embroidery pumpkin years ago and I love it. This year I am putting it on a quilted bed. Sometimes there is no room on a table. Its pretty big. ❤
Love the multicolored pumpkins - orange and green mix of colors but white ones always add a little interest in the design also. Looks like you had a great time at PNWSS. Watched the latest floss tube for Anna (Stitch Roadie) and she talked about all the fun you girls had there also. Your finish on Pumpkin Hollow Farm is beautiful. Especially liked how you used the herringbone stitch on the edges. Love seeing the wool projects you have done. I would love to do them but that would probably just create another rabbit hole for me to go down and I have all I can do to get my cross-stitch projects completed. Loving the fall season changes too. Hugs to the sweet kitties.😻😻
Like you, I really love a good fall pumpkin design. As to pumpkin varieties, I love Blue Jarrafdale, but I can’t resist the Knucklehead pumpkin for sheer whimsy. I can’t have a real pumpkin patch since I live in a second floor apartment, but I can and do surround myself with stitched pumpkins in autumn. Thanks so much for showing all the beautiful autumn inspiration! Best, Carol in TX
Love all the pumpkin stitches you showed and had to pause and going hunting love the Woolen Needle, and when my niece lived in Seattle we always went to Carriage Country Quilts, miss that store! I love white pumpkins, but of course have to have orange pumpkins too.
Your white pumpkin wool finish would be pretty as a wall hanging, which could also serve as a table topper. I'm not sure the name, but I like the pumpkins that look fat and squatty with bumps. I like the colors they come in, white, orange, yellow, and green. Have a great week.
Thank You, Another great video. I like White pumpkins, have knitted many different sizes. As for your pumpkin/ crow Quilt: Black thread, meaner quilt and a wood rustic frame. Laying flat on a table would not do it justice. Enjoy your visit with family.
Hi Lori! I would enjoy stitching Pumpkin Hollow Farm 🎃!! I like ALL the pumpkins 😂. Your collections are sew pretty! I recommend framing the one piece you asked our opinion on - you have so many pretty wall hangings 🍁🌻🍂. Life happens and I haven't kept up on many flosstubes... so good to "see" you 😊. Take care and happy stitching 🪡
Just adore your projects...all of them LOL. It was so wonderful to see you again my stitchy friend! Anna took me to Pioneer Quilts when I first got there...oh, and I'm serious. She picked me up at the airport and we drove directly to Pioneer Quilts LOL, suitcases and all. However, when your time is limited, a girl has to do what a girl has to do! Glad you like the floss bling and snap bag. I had a blast making them. I'm hoping to get to Sisters again this summer to attend the 50th anniversary of the SOQS. Seems like that time of special event should not be missed...right?!? Would love to see you again, perhaps, at that time! Hugs from NE Ohio.
My favorite pumpkin color is a shade of orange and I tend to like smaller sizes. But a wonderful ghost pumkin with a unique steam will always be brought home!
I cannot pick a favorite pumpkin shape or color, it would be like picking a favorite cat! I so enjoy your videos, your style of creating and your gentle manner are a treat. Thank you. Looking forward to seeing you granddaughters costume completed, it's amazing.
Autumn 🍂!!!! Adore this time of year and am so happy to be moving on to cooler sweater weather. Thank you for sharing your fun Fall things. Boy I haven’t seen anyone mention Thimbleberries in such a long time. She was a favorite of mine back in the 90’s I still have many of her books. 🍂🍁🎃🍂🍁🎃🍂🍁🎃 Pumpkins and acorns and Brenda Gervais’ witches 🍂🍁🎃🍂🍁🎃🍂🍁🎃 I am a traditionalist and enjoy lovely large orange carvable pumpkins. Thanks again for sharing!
Loving your wool appliqué kits, especially the fox...I have that tray as well and need to get something stitched for it. I have been all into pumpkins lately, from making pincushions to the real heirloom ones. The dusty blue pumpkins and white ones are so pretty. The other day I saw a crate of "Fairytale" pumpkins and I could have taken them all home. Your retreat sounded like fun; having the football players come in was a hoot. Take care and happy stitching!
Pumpkin Of course you must have round orange pumpkins for Jack o lanterns, but I also love the bumpy turquoise ones and the mottled green ones. As always you’re dangerous to my pocketbook! I’ve never seen the Autumn mercury glass ornaments before; how cute! I don’t know what you’ve done differently to your hair, but I love it! Safe travels!
My favorite pumpkins are the white flat pumpkins. I’m currently trying to find the perfect stems for some velvet pumpkins. I enjoy your videos so much, we have the same decor style and stitching. Thank you for the reminder, I really need to drive up to the Olympia Farmer’s Market!
Love pumpkins especially cinderella varierty which is classic orange colour. Always enjoy and look forward to your great scope of craft achievements. Happy stitching. Regards.
Another fantastic and inspirational video, of course had to pause to order some Mystic Moonlight fabric 😂 My Granddaughter loves cats so I did stitch the Teresa Kogut Snarky cat for her for Halloween and just need to take it to get it framed. I may go back and order more Mystic fabric just to have on hand. My pumpkin display would have to include Hubbard squash, love the color and plentiful this time of year. Looking forward to seeing your Granddaughters Halloween dress finished, she is so lucky you are a beautiful seamstress 🥰🧵🪡😻
Thanks Debbie! Isn’t that Mystic line awesome?!? I was pondering again just what I’m going to make out of it. Even the kitty faces would be cute to appliqué on something.
Love that autumn pillow! Please don’t be so hard on yourself! We are always the worst critics on our own work. No one would ever pay attention to your corners until you point them out!
I enjoy your videos and the beautiful work that you do. I also enjoy seeing the variety of projects that you work on. I do think the white princess pumpkin is so pretty but my favorite pumpkin is the traditional orange.
Oh my, the sunset picture at the first of the video was absolutely gorgeous. I really enjoyed the video, and I love the William Morris fabric. The costume for your granddaughter is going to be wonderful, I can only imagine how much she is going to love it! Have fun on your visit. Thanks for sharing.
Love love love everything you’re working on, finished, finished years ago, all the wool kits, and the gorgeous fabric, oh my!!! So fun to watch!! One of my favorite pumpkins to display, Cinderella pumpkin. It’s flat and a soft blue color. I haven’t seen too many lately. Have fun with your girls and see you next time.
I absolutely love your wool appliqué collection! I had to shoom right over to the Blackberry Primitives website and order flowers in a pumpkin shell. Wow so pretty! I am sorry you won't be at the fall retreat in Amana this year. I will definitely be making a run to the woolen needle since I didn't get over there in the spring. Take care!❤
Such an inspiring video, I have never done wool…however I think I need to start investing in kits..lolol..my favourite colour of pumpkin is actually the white ones lately, they seem to go better with my decor. Would really enjoy a bag parade, i haven’t heard of a poppins bag, would like to see how they look. Thanks for sharing your beautiful work…happy fall from a frosty Saskatchewan…
Hmm, a bag parade. I don’t know if I have enough for a very long parade, but I think its a great idea! I have a couple more in the works, so maybe after they are done.
Do you have any advice for a first time wool embroidery project? Should I try a small kit to familiarize myself with the process? I do have several books on, and I learned how to sew and embroider and cross stitch at a very young age. My sweet Mom was an accomplished and kind teacher. I'm working towards my 70th year and would like to try something new. Your Autumnal projects all called to me and I was inspired to buy a couple patterns you shared. I would appreciate any advice! My birthday was 9/25 and I always decorate my house in Fall leaf garlands and pumpkins so they can stay through Thanksgiving! In Tampa Bay, I've learned to celebrate inside! P.S. any wool buying suggestions?
Sincerest apologies for the late reply! I would start with a small kitted wool project, and some tutorials on RUclips. There are lots out there. Buttermilk Basin (Stacy West) or Primitive Gatherings (Lisa Bongean) are both fabulous choices! Happy belated Fall birthday! I think Fall birthdays are the best. Aside from the two I mentioned above, the Woolen Needle is also a great place to buy wool, and they are a fabulous quilt shop as well! Let me know how it goes!
Your videos always inspire me. The green pumpkins 🎃 always catch my eye.
I love different color PUMPKINS teal and gold, sparkle white or off white ❤
Have a great stitchy week. ❤❤❤

Pumpkin! First time watching... enjoyable! Cutie pie pumpkins... super sweet and not stringy for pie! I also decorate with white little pumpkins.
@@karistutzman8381 I love a good pumpkin pie pumpkin as well!
