Thanks for not getting bogged down in the storage options Thanks for sticking it into some choppy seas and giving a "how it feels to own" experience. 10/10. Getting a bit of a underpowered vibe.
Underpowered Wally's dont exist; I think it's just so quiet and smooth that it seems slower. The vibration dampening on their two "Why" models is insane
@@robdurfee6861 that's nice, there's something in the video for you too. Reading my comment carefully would enlighten you with the "not getting bogged down" line (hint - its at the beginning). But I have a couple of cardboard boxes i was thinking of uploading a "how to" video. Stay tuned..
@@GoodkatNW I should have clarified my comment be only referencing the slow speed handling. Just seemed to struggle a little against the winds. But this is why its so great to watch the Yatchbuyer because its not just a walk through its an experience of what's its like to momentarily own the model through Jacks eyes and shared with me. Have a drink every time he says carbon fibre.
Jack, you are still the best at what you do. This boat tickles you and you conveyed that with your thoughtful observations punctuated with spontaneous and authentic humor. You manage to make a comprehensive exam of the technical aspects fresh. You introduce us to a personality and then tell us what to appreciate about it. This is one of my favorite Jack reviews; partially because you look happier and healthier. Congratulations. Oh, and I love the Wally.
The outside contour looks like my grandpa's boat, only with sleek lines, angles, and a fabulous beach club. I long for them to bring back the stealth angular lines of glass cockpit Wally had 20 years ago. But, the the biggest selling point is the interior, especially with the incredibly futuristic looking dining/solarium. I easily foresee it becoming an industry standard. If they ditch all the teak and carbon fiber for the same sleek Riva finishes, it will be all she ate for Riva's market share. For the size this Wally Why100 is truly out of this world!
It's odd to think of a 70ft boat as a weekender but that's pretty much what this is. Impractical to stay on for extended periods and is purely a toy for the incredibly rich. Nothing wrong with that per se but I'd prefer a boat that's useful more of the time and not just a show pony. Great tour as usual Jack. Cheers
Love the hull design. I also like the forward position of the helm but not the laid-back windscreen. The hell's position is excellent for navigating littered waters. But I would prefer a forward-cant of the windshield!
I rather wondered why theres only a little bit of the balcony dropping down, why not the length of the boat? OR atleast into the relaxing area where the shady is... Thos balconys are only good for 1 beanbag so might aswrll not have them at all by that point. Galleon foes the drop down balcontys justice to have an outside bar!
I have to say, having a big family I love the separate galley if this was to be a live aboard option. Less hearing "get out" to the children while meals are being prepared.
Great review- have to say the exterior lines were underwhelming, if not disappointing, when one remembers the iconic Wally 118! Proportionally they are more akin to a bus than a luxury yacht.
I'd love to have one of these and run back and forth from Miami to the Bahamas and maybe the Florida Keys. You don't spend days on end with this boat you hop from Lux marina and resort to Lux marina and resort. I presume that is what the Med is like. Wally's are not cheap - a couple of Million for this. Even a private owner might have crew who would use the galley.
Beautiful design! It would be an awesome weekender. I was looking for your pots to put on the drop down decks by the chairs like you had on the Azimut Seadeck. Kinda missed them😢
Have u heard that kismet 122meters 4.918gt 2024 newly built megayacht attend 2024 monaco yacht show? Hopely yachtbuyer make thr tour video of that showstopper megayacht
That is a nice looking boat, it is bigger on the inside that what it looks like from outside, nice layout and finishes and I like how versatile the cockpit and lounge area's are. What is the price of this boat. Great tour Jack thank you.
I hadn’t realized it is only a 70 foot boat. Honestly, your review made the boat more likable. The kitchen definitely screams crew (aka minions, slaves, sub humans). On camera it came across like a cave with just enough to get the job done. Almost to the point of being beyond lack of care for the chef and into thinking the chef should be glad to be abused. Also, the helm chairs make me wonder. They look cool, but probably uncomfortable. Your lack of trying them might well be a great way to communicate that sitting in them sucks without upsetting those who grant access for the videos.
It’s a difficult boat to get the scale of. Regarding the helm seats, they are very comfortable but in the rough(ish) seas we had I preferred to stand - Jack
Unique and cool design. But something is off- sometimes a boat feels much bigger than it actually is and this is the opposite. For its size; it just feels sort of basic and kind of lack luster. For 80’ or 90’ you can get a lot more ‘boat’.
pretty cool boat but builders should not be making these dungeon engine spaces. also that galley was painfully small, really limits how the boat can be used.
Ok so boats from the 70's all mechanical everything is cable gears and lube down to the gauges. Whatever unicorns are steering and propelling this pos are gonna mechanically total it. Because theres just wires running to units means when they fail, to switch anything to its mechanical cousin will be tons of work. This will go from a cruiser to a sleep aboard way quicker than any boat in history
1 time in 100 with some ‘ok’ seas. All these big capable boats you test on flat water … aargh! 🤬 Nice job, interesting boat! Hey, what’s with all the art lying about on the floor?? Cheers.
Honestly, I think this is the ugliest Wally I have seen. Carbon fibre bits and designer furnishings really do not make up for the overall form which give the impression of a Fishing Boat designed by Lamborghini.

The conditions were tricky but we did get 25 knots out of it quite comfortably - Jack
I like the storage options, thank you very much

If there’s an opposite of cozy - this design nails it 😅 Nice review though.

Brilliant trial & tour Jack, superb.
Loved it as an alternative to all the others out there. Quirky and cool 😎
Thanks for the effort put in to get to sea trial a Wally why100, much appreciated.
Our pleasure, Antonio - Jack

Lovely boat! And a great opportunity, as you demonstrated, to say Wally in all sorts of amusing contexts. 😁
Cool video. Nice boat. Beautiful design and finishes.
Cheers Bart 👌

wipers weren't working too well
Thanks Jack! I love Wally's quirkiness! They remind me of Bluegame vessels.
100% Awesome Boat❤
Great looking yacht. Love the drop-down balconies. Great tour as usual. Well done being the first again to sea trial it 👏👏

excellent summary, keep up the good work!
Glad you liked it!
@ 10:15..... I get a Lager Drink..... 12:41 sip....Jack Haines didn't give many mentions of the words 'carbon or fiber'
The captains chairs remind me of Wilson hifi speakers.
Great job Jack!
Thanks! - J

i was waiting to see this boat for a year now, its already in my shopping basket :D
Fantastic vid as usual 👃 and I really like this one, futuristic looking but not too Buck Rogers they've got it just right. 👍❤️🇬🇧

That is exactly how this boat is used for charter in the Med. Big day boat duties, essentially - Jack
It's nice...But just nice, not my kinda yacht...Great review as always Jack 🙂
Beautiful design! It would be an awesome weekender.

Gorgeous
Wooooow! Very Very Nice ♥️
Have a drink every time i say carbon fibre.
aye aye captain Jack!
🍻
This boat is deceptively big!!
Yup!

Amazing review
Thanks!
Love it! Thx for the vid. ❤
This is quite nice!

Very nice
Carbon Fiber! 🍸🥂 😜
🍻
2nd, and nice YACHT!!!
🥈
Very nice. Doesn't look like a running shoe.
Those massive windows would be useless in Australia, the heat here would make them huge heaters in Summer.
It has a familiar appearance like the cyber truck
This came out first. Elon’s inspiration?! 😉
About as useful too
How many times did his ring hit the steering wheel?
WOW!!!!
Really airy and ever so handsome well designed motor boat,
Odd, but overall I think a cool boat
that engine room is a complete claustrophobia nightmare. hahaha
Wally i need to know Why you are Called Wally😎
Unique and cool design.
But something is off- sometimes a boat feels much bigger than it actually is and this is the opposite. For its size; it just feels sort of basic and kind of lack luster.
For 80’ or 90’ you can get a lot more ‘boat’.
It looks like a Wally
What is the range at 8 knots?
Sign me up!!
Looks like you could hit the screen with your bonce in rough seas. 😂
Nice boat though
Imhad a drink every time Jack said carbon fiber a d nowmthe doctor's say I need a new liver.
They may send a trend. But they forgot that it’s all about and around the kitchen
Cyber boat?
pretty cool boat but builders should not be making these dungeon engine spaces. also that galley was painfully small, really limits how the boat can be used.
The name says it all why 😅
not a fan of that greenhouse front glass. given a bit on sun you would be baking no matter how hard the aircon works.
How much is this boat
how were the sea keepers? Im not sure about that wally , It looks to gimmiky. Of course that may just be the carbon fiber talking...

Unfortunately this thing is probably a little out of my price range.
Comical vessel!
Gorgeous exterior but don't love the interior.
multi million dollar boat... and then they use glare screens like a toy car. XD
Where the fuck is the kitchen
Hi Miguel, it’s at 12:50 👍
If you need a CREW to operate this boat, then you should not be in boating !!!
Honestly, I think this is the ugliest Wally I have seen. Carbon fibre bits and designer furnishings really do not make up for the overall form which give the impression of a Fishing Boat designed by Lamborghini.
Wally definitely makes the most unattractive boats in existence.
Bleh. I cannot imagine chartering it for anything but a day outing. The crew must hate it.
one of the ugliest boats on the market.... is that a school bus???
Wally kill it every time.
