one of the perfect dreamish haunting songs they did you could get lost in and listen to it over and over again. but then it turns into a big powerful driving finish and then back to that lighter melodic sound. amazing song
First Priest Album I bought. I got it when it came out, my favorite Judas Priest Album. Now mind you, I was 17 years old, a kid from the mountains of southwest Virginia. Everyone was afraid of them, LOL. It's just great music that's all.
This never gets old and after all these years, it still sounds so epic. I love Glenn`s solo in DD, as his guitar weeps melodic tears and then the dramatic outro with Rob`s voice to the bridge of "Deceiver". .. What a tremendous band for their time. I saw them in 79 as a pre act for AC /DC and found them 10x better.

This IS SO EPIC that this comment are nothing but a fart in the wind... Wish they could find a vocalist capable of this at my funeral, since I would wish this played to remind us all about the freedom of mind. (They got plenty of time I hope, I'm 36 by now xD )
Wish deceiver had been on unleashed in the east. A heavied up speedier live version would have sounded amazing, not that this doesn't of course,but still.

only metal band and probably only band I ever heard that could do this sound and arrangement and blend of stuff that was just right sounding.
