    Hey man! I just recently bought an '85 XJ700, and it was literally a "bike in a box". Needless to say, these videos have been nothing but super helpful for myself putting this machine together. Thank you for this playlist!

    This XJ will be an absolute show stopper I love the build 😍 it will be I interesting to see how the 2mm tyre clearance will fair under stress such as cornering but that big rear tyre looks amazing 😀

      Hi Mate, yeah agree. Will be interesting to see how it goes and what the tyre does under load. I might put the go pro on the swing arm to find out when I finally get this on the road

    M8 that colour you painted the frame looks awesome against the engine it just gives the bike that extra bit of " Bling" 👍

      Thanks mate, I almost painted it black but glad I decide against it. Always looking to do something a bit different.

    Your bike really is looking awesome and can't wait to see the end result. The oil switch you put in is a low oil level sensor (well it looks exactly the same as the one on my xv750), not a pressure switch.

    • @Mezzmoengineering
      @Mezzmoengineering  4 года назад

      I was actually wondering if it was pressure or level, thanks for clarifying

    • @minerma

      all it does is cut the engine if oil gets too low, or won't let it start.

    Very cool project. But I am really waiting for another MAD MEZZMO MOWER build.

      Well Lucky, you're in luck. There won't be another bike after this project and it will be something more inline with the Mowzuki, Stay tuned!

    Nice build, been following for awhile now, one question, how much clearance do you have on the shaft side with a 140 on the rear? I have a 81 XJ750 SECA I'm working on and I didn't go bigger than a 130, I just didn't think a 140 would fit without rubbing some. Great content Fam, really like the build !

      Hi Mate, no much at all, I took it a close as I could. It;s about 2 to 3mm as I got a bit more by removing the weld seam in that area

    Where did you get the information sticker to put on the frame for after you got the frame done? My 82 xj750 has the sticker but it is scraped up and has chunks missing. I can’t find a replacement anywhere

    • @Mezzmoengineering
      @Mezzmoengineering  3 года назад +1

      Hi mate, the info sticker is the original one. I just made sure I didn't damage it during the build. Not sure you can get a new one as its specific for each bike.

      That’s a bummer lol. Bike probably just won’t have it then 😒.

    What kind of rear shocks did you install?

    • @Mezzmoengineering

      Hi mate, I went with Ikon. Check this link, www.ikonsuspension.com/product-information/
      Not cheap but are very good quality...

    i have a XJ 750 Seca, could i put a 170 tire on it? looks lovelyy

    • @Mezzmoengineering
      @Mezzmoengineering  4 года назад

      No mate, 150 is the biggest and needs mods to get that to fit. No chance of getting a 170 in there.
