@@Noctifern When a truly evil person sees Lucifer's devil form or face it's meant to drive them to insanity, make them feel disgust, terror, but innocent people can't see his true face just like the bystanders with the street preacher in Season 1 Episode 2 when everyone is smiling because all they see is a freaked out "preacher" screaming that the man standing in front of him is the Devil and he drops his money all over the sidewalk and the people take back their money.
Jon Ruff Lucifer can sense how evil/corrupt this guy was in this scene, he basically manipulated/lied to his son to throw a fight and collect a massive payday at the end, but the scheme went South which resulted in Aidan getting shot in broad daylight. Plus the guy committed two of the 7 deadly sins: Greed-for the money that was stolen, Gluttony-his need to consume it over and over again.
I had to rewatch this scene multiple times to understand why Lucifer was actually pissed, Lucifer could relate to the situation “refusing to play a part in your plan” “he was like a son to me” so this probably was meant to remind Lucifer about his father and how poorly he’s being treated just cause he doesn’t follow his plan.
honestly, I think Amenadiel's anger is scarier than Luci's. You kind of expect that from the devil, but a straight-up angel who can basically speak with the voice of God if he wants to? Yiiiiiiikes
That's not his true form. Thats the monster face he gave himself after he fell from heaven. His true god-given form is the one you normally see. Not sure why people keep calling that his "true form". It's a part of him, yeah... but not what he really looks like. It's his mask.

I mean he was called as the most beautiful angel in the bible, but what if he was portrayed as ugly so that people will associate him more with being evil, because lets face it Humans judge everything by looks, I mean if a murder occur and there are 2 suspects one being a Big ugly guy with scars on his face or a good looking man with fair skin and dreamy eyes, which one would be the first to enter your mind as the killer? even in movies ugly criminals are Brute and low lives while Good looking criminals are portrayed as cunning,mysterious and smart for pulling a crime that is hard to solve, and thats the portrayal of criminals imagine the main characters.

I believe God created lucifer exactly the way he is.. The Guy Who punishes evil.. Think about it . if you put heaven N hell in a mirror god & satan are the only ones who mirror each other.. They both rule the top & bottom.. I believe God created lucifer to WORK as a punisher for the tormented.. In the end GOD is PERFECT.. & he has a plan for everything I believe he loves lucifer without a doubt and he sent him to hell to work as a punisher God is "Good" Satan is "bad" both are rulers of each side. In the end.. Lucifer can only punish those who do wrong to OTHERS who arent doing wrong... seems kinda like a protecter..

So I think Lucifer, if he really did exist, would look like us. Whether he assumes a different appearance when in Hell I guess would all depend on how he views himself. But overall, I think he'd still look like an angel. I think society's idea of the horns and the tail and the red skin and the black eyes... I think that's the stuff of ghost stories to scare kids into behaving. No one wants to come face to face with a monster like that, so tell children if they misbehave they go to Hell and when in Hell the devil is waiting for them. You'll suddenly have obedient children. Also, he was dealing with this guilt issue at the end of season 4. He was personally blaming himself for evil.
