I don't even know what or whom we are _supposed_ to be rooting for in this storyline. The writers have succeeded in creating a plot where _everything_ feels tainted. Bridget and Ridge are just a terrible, terrible idea. Brooke is still a terrible mother to Bridget and not very good with Ridge's kids either. Ridge's paternity secret makes Stephanie look bad, and Massimo's desire to reveal it makes _him_ look bad. Eric the benevolent patriarch is an obvious rewrite to evoke sympathy that he doesn't deserve. I just want this entire storyline to go away.
You are absolutely right. There is nobody to root for in these storylines. I don’t recall a lot of these scenes so I must’ve quit watching most of B&B around this time. 🤔 Right now, the only sane character seems to be Nick. Everything about the writing during this period seems to be about “shock” value. Ready to move on from the poorly conceived Ridge/Bridget fiasco…like yesterday. 😖
Any sane woman at this point would have said "All right. That's it for me, I'm out." Not Brooke. Stephanie was right, she always just wanted to be Mrs. Ridge Forrester (or at least a Forrester).
I'm loving it when characters switch up their traits for contrast. They classied Amber up to make April the immature and trashy one for distinction. And now Deacon is all neat and tidy, while Nick is the one who's smoking and drinking.
Not once Brooke missed the chance to marry Ridge, and each time he was in love with someone else( except in 1996 when he wantwd to marry Brooke, when HT left the show) The twist is Brooke acting with pride( as Taylor did on many occasions with Ridge) .
Something else Mass and Steph have in common is people blaming them for their own actions. Here we have Bridget blaming Mass for “setting them up”. Yea he originally is the one who brought it up about him pushing them together, but no one forced them to keep talking about and going more in depth after he already left
@sharonstewart4882 well he's certainly not showing much remorse or even regret-no empathy. We haven't seen him display much guilt if any on the show. It's like he can do no wrong and as long as he decides he wants something, he sees no reason why all the chips won't fall painlessly into place. Really he and Brooke are two of a kind!
How horrible to be the bride standing at the altar and the groom is obviously distracted by the maid of honor. (The latter being the daughter of the bride makes it that much worse. )Stephanie should go home and pop that champagne cause this is one of those very rare occasions where Brooke really gets punished!
18:54 _It was a man taking advantage of a woman. _*_A woman who once thought this man was her brother_* The show during that SL really ignores that Bridget also for years thought that Ridge was her father (until they did another paternity test).
Bridget blaming Massimo when she should be taking accountability. After all she and Ridge were stupid enough to have an intimate secret convo. at a family party.
@ they are human and feelings happen independently not intentionally because that’s how biological works. It’s not like she acted on those feelings by taking him to bed and had his baby while he was married to her mother.
@sparticuzj19 At first Ridge and Bridget were believed to be father and daughter, then they were believed to be brother and sister, but now all of a sudden they have romantic feelings for each other and have kissed, that is sickening, and if you can't see that there's something wrong with you.
The nerve of the mattress throwing around the word incestuous when she was married to Ridge's father and brother and sleep with her daughter's husband!
😂❤ Let's RSVP to the board meeting where they vote out Brooke as CEO and Macy throws some good shade on her. It's like a wedding in that a lot of the cast is present and most of them are Brooke's exes.
@@NewYorkNick0607 also before that, there's the absolute mess that is Macy and Deacon's wedding, where Brooke tries to tell Macy that she'll steaI another husband from her, Amber at ta cks Macy, Sally pIedges not to have an affair with her daughter's husband, and Gladys gets her debut as a moviemaker.
I asked my friend who has never watched the show how old he thought Brooke/KKL was here and he guessed early 50s. I told him her age and he was shocked 😂
My god, KKL is playing a role here!! Brooke isn't KKL! Lashing out on an actress for playing an anti-hero, for she's not a villain but an anti-hero, but who cares about the vocabulary really, is just a proof of how people can be so stupid and gullible! Without KKL and the character of Brooke, this show would have lasted 2 years maximum...! So let's praise KKL for her contribution to the show because, as seen, people need characters like Brooke to simply have a "life"... 😂😂😂 And before people start spreading their venom, no I'm no particular Logan /Brooke stan 😂😂
@therumeon2704 I agree with you. Mean spirited remarks about a actor playing a role show the level of hate and vitriol of the American people at this moment in time. Why do these haters keep watching these old videos? They just love to spread hate so they can feel good about themselves...watch put haters I don't care @ your replies. You are showing your true character and perhaps intelligence levels....
Stephanie leaves Bridget alone with Massimo, who is still pushing Bridget to use her chance to go after Ridge. Is Stephanie now going to confess to Eric? Or was the ice cream trip something to keep the kids AND Eric from learning about the secrets (paternity, Bridget and Ridge feelings for each other)?
Is Bridget at all mortified about her feelings for Ridge? (Not necessarily concerning Brooke, because she deserves this) There’s just so much second hand embarrassment I’m feeling as their secret feelings are revealed to the other characters 🤮I need this to end….
Stephanie’s now only concerned with the situation because now she has to tell Eric that he is not Ridges father. She’s no better than Brooke only thinking about herself
They had to have Meghan have no partner or family. Otherwise Brooke would sleep with them. I'm guessing the character Meghan was necessary for the entertainment of dialogue. Otherwise Brooke would just talk to herself about her problems. Her occasionally talking to herself had to stay balanced like every other character.
Why does Brooke never ask herself this: "How could I do something like that to someone?" It would be a first therapeutic measure.

Brook has no right to judge after what she did to her own daughter.

Annie - is your comment a roundabout way of saying that you want to join us on our next RSVP? 😜
Imagine how Bridget felt when you had deacon baby !!
Frisky princess didn’t care. That marriage was a hoax from the beginning.
Ridge is explaining his comfusion and his crush becasue he was shocked by Brooke and Deacon and his real father... And not a hint to Taylor 💔
You can see it clearly in this thumbnail that Brooke doesn't have any 1 i p s and h e r eyes are too close together.
Bridget did such a good job explaining to the kids
The way Deacon told Nick Brooke's hung around with ALOT of men lol
Was he implying she's a 403?
...not Ridge always having feelings for 2 women...
Deacon seems to be so indecisive with his beard, it looks different every episode 😝

And doesn't Brooke betray Bridgette again with Nick Payne
Yes, she sure does. But she loves her daughter, right?
