I have the opposite, while retro toy hunting in Japan, I found Super Back to the Future II for SFC, which was the only video game in the whole store and the one video game I had wanted to come home with but couldn't find in any of the game shops.
One time at game exchange I found a Bomberman 2 cartridge for ds. Upon looking it up I believe it was released only in Europe and has a very unique power up upgrades that change the look of your character. Also the title screen reminds me of a me of a Megaman X title. Cool game by the way.
After game hunting at garage sells with my grandma as a kid, in a small town. Getting games, consoles, and accessories for dirt cheap. Then seeing how much everything went up in price… I’ll admit. It hurts. But I enjoy going back and recollecting my whole childhood collection and trying new ones on the side. Watching videos like this inspired me to make a game room of my own. I just think it’s funny the most expensive thing in it, is my sectional couch. About $1,400 but well worth it for friends and family to also enjoy.
If you ever in southern Indiana. I would recommend going to Evansville toys and games. Very nice owner. Almost in everyday. With so much of everything. Y’all would be blown away. His business started as booth in a flea market. Then it was all taken away from a fire. Despite all his inventory going in flames. He got a store and came back stronger than any game/toy store I ever seen in person and most on RUclips. Then a few blocks down is Super Mega replay. So many good game stores in Evansville, Indiana. You can almost find anything.
True comic book story: when I was a young lad I was sick once and my dad said he was going to get me some comics to read. My mother sternly admonished him to only get me Disney and Looney Tunes comics...nothing weird! Dad came back with a stack of Disney and Looney Tunes but smuggled into the center of the stack was a Spider-Man! Good ole dad.
@@polocatfan she grew up in the 50s when EC comics were quite Infamous. I think she thought all comics were like that. Also this was the mid 60s and Spider-Man wasn't as well known then as he is today.
Excellent Find! I found Ys IV Soundtrack at that very Fallout two years ago. Love it. Also wanted to take a moment to say have a great week and safe travels to So Cal! Looking forward to the videos that it produces! Happy Sunday Funday!
Thumbs up for Gremlins showing on the TV at Sour Apple! Nothing wrong with spending a little when you come across something you've been looking for! Hope y'all have a great rest of your weekend! :)
I’ve really noticed how I’m looking forward to you guys videos on Sundays! Fun watching you guys hunt for games and other cool stuff. The laser disc is interesting to me. You got some great movies. The one I really liked was An American Tail. I have the original soundtrack on tape 😀 I remember listening to the tape over and over just singing my heart out. Miss those good times.
Those are some cool looking stores! That Terminator 2 LaserDisc is totally awesome! 🤯 Really great video and some cool finds! Fun to see you adding to your collection!
Crazy how cheep Anime VHS tapes are now. I recall at a mall I went to each newly sealed Neon Genesis Evangelion by ADV films on VHS was about $19.99 at the time of its release. ( There were 13 VHS tapes altogether to collect the original series. 2 episodes per VHS tape. ) Now you can find more episodes for about the same price on a Dvd/Blu-ray today. Amazing how that works. And I agree about Pierce Brosnan. He didn't do as many 007 films as Sean as James Bond, but he really brought the flair. Plus you got the Golden Eye 007 game on N64 complete with him in it...sweet. Last off Congratulations for finding your Sega Ages complete! I know how much that means to you guys.😀 Can't wait for the next video!
Ive been trying to recall that goofy game system I had as a kid for years and havent been able to figure it out until watching your video this morning!! Sega Pico with those dang books!! How could I forget?!
@@JRPGLife that's so awesome. You two are so kind. I wish I lived in a climate like yours. I'm in Edmonton Alberta Canada. It's cold for a lot of the year 😭

What's the weirdest thing you've found while game hunting? Comment below!
I found a hentai in a ps2 game case when i was thrifting lol

The couch is very important! And thank you for the kind words ☺️

wait your mom thought Spider-Man wasn't appropriate? I'm sorry but that sounds madly abusive lmao.

I love how you guys have all these awesome game stores in Arizona and find just the coolest stuff and sometimes bizarre stuff like Corn
😅
@JRPGLife at least it not the worst thing to accidentally find. BTW I want some Wii water that sounds refreshing lol
Exactly. Corn isnt really a Arizona thing, more of a midwest crop. A rare find.
So freaking jealous of that Laser Disc section 🎉

Thank you 😊
Those prices at the second place were WACK. Forgot how expensive things are out west. That’s wild to me.
You both are awesome. Ever go for bike rides or do active stuff? I guess game hunting is an activity 🥰😄
Yep! We go for walks, play in the park, we power lift together, ride some beach cruiser bikes. All the things 😀

Wow, that's great that you found it with its reg card! What working designs games are left for you to get? ☝️🙌✨️
I think just the TurboGrafx CD games. 😊
@jrpgwife nice, I was super pumped for you both when you got popful mail. One of my favorite games and rant expensive now.
Okay, unpopular opinion. I really enjoyed Enchanted Arms. I mean it was not the greatest, but it had its moments through the story.
It's great to hear that someone liked it 😀
RetoRick looks like a trouble maker probably why he got kicked out for filming dang hoodlum's
Lol they were cool about it, he just wasn't allowed to record that day for some reason
It's always sunny in Arizona 😊
Have you hit Rampage games yet? They have been growing their inventory.
Yep! Been there once so far, hopefully we will go back again sometime soon. It's pretty far away from home 😅
Danny C is the GOAT

Nice sega Saturn pick up. It was boss getting something sweet
3:07 I recently bought kid icarus for the 3ds it was pretty expensive, but you guys infected me with the 3ds collectors virus 🤠
Haha it's contagious!
Elisa, you have home work. Watch Oliver and Company! 🎶 Why Should I Worry!? Why should I care 🎵
The kid Icarus cards are amazing! I believe it has something like 500 cards
Wow!
Should show everything you got at the end.
Oh hell yeah im mad early this is gonna be good *eats* popcorn 🍿
I just eanna know how yall afford all these awesome gakes and collectables!

Because we love playing them together 😀
There was corn on lazer disc? Of course there was 😂

Electronic Lisa
Yes 😂
How bad is enchanted arms rpg? I just picked up a copy not too long ago. Was super cheap
It's not bad, just very basic and a bit clunky 😅
That farming simulator is one of the 31 I need to complete my full 317 North America vita set.
So close!
@@JRPGLife hey I finished final fantasy 9.
Guess you can say the hunt took a corntastic turn 😉

Weirdest thing found while game hunting a mario kart 8 duluxe pass BOX no game same shop had sonic origins plus artbook for switch
Very cool!
@@JRPGLife i ended up getting sonic origins plus for the switch i hadn't planned to before going in
Man I wish my area had more laser discs but I will NOT stand for Power Rangers slander! I would’ve spent way too much money at that Zia.
Man, im mad at elisa for passing on little rascals on lds ahaha!!!
Lol
How do you visually check for disc rot?
Pinholes in the art tend to be a dead givaway 🙂
Song at 0:32?
I believe it's from picross DS 🤔
Ack! Ack! 😁
I dunno why I’m always on pins and needles hoping for that dumb Barbie game, but yall hunt so much I just want to know it can even be found lol
It's totally a double-edged sword lol, it's so pricey!!
Hey ...I have a copy of puzzler world 2013 for 3ds ..that im going to Send your way
We are very curious as to whether this game was even released in the US because it seems to be Canada-only...🤔
