The people saying she's messed up some notes in certain etudes don't understand how difficult and challenging it must be to play all of these with little to no break. She's doing her best and until you haven't played all of them don't complain about the wrong notes because i'd really like to see you try and do this. It's a tough thing to accomplish and you should admire her, so stop ..

Wonderful! I’m working on them, too, Annique, and I think you’re doing a great job - far better than I at the moment. You’re going to do great on your exam. You handle errors very well without letting them shake you, and that’s a sign that you really know the music. Everyone makes errors. Horowitz, Rubinstein... not sure about Argerich. I’ve never heard her make a mistake, but she’s Marta. Maybe when she’s 100. But your lines are always engaging and your phrases well-turned. You’re going to do well, and you’ve even got time left to review this video and practice what you need to. I’m so glad I saw this and listened to you. I learned a lot!

My only frustration is not musical, is that there's little chance to even get a reply, much less to be friends. youtube somehow makes us feel like it's a two ways video call and me like others morally invested in knowing you so much and then comes the realization that i am only one small person in an audience of thousands. It is human nature to want to interact with someone you've come to know so well and it's unnatural and frustrating not being able to. I didn't anticipate that, but i understand this is promotion and a career path. it's frustrating but i am thankful for your teachings and wish you the best.

I've only listened to some of the Op. 10, but what I heard I thought was extremely good. She has a beautiful sound and plenty of technique, as demonstrated in the fearsome 10/2. I play the c#minor, F major and c-minor quite often (as well as the g#-minor from Op. 25). I thought her playing of the first two, the only ones of these I've heard thus far, were really excellent. Any one who doesn't play these pieces can't possbly understand how difficult they are, and to make music of them, as this pianist did is a real achievement. My one quibble, and it's a matter of taste, is that I didn't care for the rubato in the coda of the F major. But I loved how she brought out the left-hand in the coda, one of Chopin's many master-strokes, and that she played the final chords with Chopin's dynamic, not Horowitz's.

BTW, in English (and yours is better than many in the US), horses sweat, men perspire, and women glow. Will look for you to go on tour in the US and I'll be there.

I've already commented on the first time I learned that you had to play ALL of them as a graduation requirement. I have to assume this is better than the last time - - I cannot really tell.
[Later:] Wait - I think I heard something at 36:50... sounded like an extra half-beat or a wrong note that you corrected. I'd need to see the score to figure it out, but I'm sure you did.
In any event, I'm still astounded that this is part of an 'exam' just to graduate. Many piano legends I know of have released recordings of the Etudes as their signature work. Schirmer's cover intro notes for them openly state that even excellent musicians can spend a lifetime mastering them. That graduation certificate had better come with a recording contract. :P

Amazing 💜 This is def a rare achievement ....I wish I started them when I was in Uni, I started as a guitarist and singer....then switched.... Especially the chromatic etude, people should be learning that as soon as possible, because it will really benefit your playing of other things, takes yrs of work anyway. Wish more teachers etc. would push the virtuosity more.
