Y'all need to quit hating on aima and her weakness in not being fluent in english. If u've grown up in Pakistan ur whole life its extremely hard to learn another language inside out. Especially wen everyone around u is speaking urdu. Shes learning. Shes gone thru a lot so a lot of respect to her😘😘
No ones hating on her for speaking English or bashing her for NOT being fluent in English. Can’t you understand? We want our celebs to speak our language. We want them to speak to All OF PAKISTAN not just the elite class or middle class. Poor people need to hear them the most. Or at least they should have subtitles in Urdu if they start talking in English.
The same with if you have grown up in England, it is extremely difficult to learn urdu when everyone around you is talking in English.
Kheeri yes! Pakistanis who are born and raised abroad the only Urdu / Punjabi/ Pashto etc they learn is at home. 95% of their country is talking in English

She seems like a nice girl, but her deep rooted insecurities are visible. Why do people find the need to respond to Urdu questions in English? Be proud of your language and own your nationality! Quit trying to be something that you’re not.
Yeah. Your absolutely right. Aima we still admire you but please don’t drive urself crazy over a damn language. Sure you know how to speak English but who cares ? Don’t try to prove it. Be natural and be the true you. This goes out to other Pakistani actors and especially Indian actors. Be real and comfortable with who you actually are. We want to see our culture and language. We don’t give a damn about western culture. That’s the only way to enjoy this industry and fans will admire u even more. Don’t put up an act. We know you’re human. And Don’t be like Bollywood ( no offense) but they copy the western world way too much. They try to act like them, and try to imitate western culture. It’s extremely embarrassing. Wanna bes. and it shows Bollywood’s insecurities. But actors like Shah Rukh Khan, And Fawad Khan are real and not wanna bes of the Western world.
I am not trying to be a jerk but just saying that Aima Baig makes a LOT of mistakes while conversing in English. I hope that she would stick with Urdu (mostly). I feel bad about writing this but I really wanted to point this out.
Honestly, hum Pakistani na yahan ke rehte hain ya wahan ke. Urdu mein baat karein, phir bhi bezati khaani hai. English mein karein, phir bhi.

That's not true I'm American my parents are from pakistan lekin agar koi mujse urdu mein savaal kare mein hamesha Urdu mein javaab deti hun. Syeda Kamal that’s a good thing if someone is talking to your in Urdu you should respond to them in Urdu. She tries to add English in the middle bec that’s what happens when you want to speak English and Urdu both lol it’s been a trend for a long time now. Even Bollywood speaks Hindi and English mix. It’s just how it is now.
