I had the opportunity of meeting him at Pakistan consulate in Toronto on 16th of August 2017. A very humble, polite and decent man. Everyone who recognized him asked for a photo with them, and he happily complied to everyone's demand without hesitation or raising an eyebrow, which showed his down to earth attitude.
I have watched soo many spouses interviews but never like this one... Peer saheb story telling ability is just phenomenal... The way he described old Lahore, his childhood , his family...I just wanted to keep listening to him... I don't know how to describe my feelings but I just loved it... God bless u both..

I had met Samina many years ago when she had just married Usman and they used to live opposite my sister's house in New Garden Town. Usman talked to me about financing a movie he wanted to direct. With the passage of time, both have turned out to be extremely talented, and decent human beings. The interview was an enjoyable reminisce of the life of Lahore in those good old days. It was such a beautiful interview. I binge watched it. Their intellect really inspired me. These type of calm, composed, sober interviews can still happen here. What pleasure, truly! My nano's house shared a wall with YWCA. I was born and grew up in that house. I think my nano's family was related to the Peerzada family (not sure maternally or paternally). This episode was especially nostalgic for me, and emotional as I recently lost my nano. Thinking about that house and my nano just brought back so many memories. Lahore is truly just Lahore, beautiful. Pure love, pure joy!

m really amazed to see how philosphical and educated pakistani actors are as compared to indian actors. their tongue gives a sight to their head. on othr hand i dont think any indian actor has sch deep thoughts n philosphies and sch deep talks ..highly educatd beautifl souls too grounded earthy and lit spirits that they fascinate the one hearng dem .. sch beautiful prespctives fr life .. luv from kashmir..

What pleasure, truly! My nano's house shared a wall with YWCA. I was born and grew up in that house. I think my nano's family was related to the Peerzada family (not sure maternally or paternally). This episode was especially nostalgic for me, and emotional as I recently lost my nano. Thinking about that house and my nano just brought back so many memories. Lahore is truly just Lahore, beautiful. Pure love, pure joy!
