I love lentils, and your videos: the perspective of the shots, the colours, the sounds.. sometimes I get so lost in enjoying them visually that I have to go back to get what's happening in the recipes - which are so amazing and balanced! It's clear there's so much work behind every detail, you're amazing ❤️ looking forward to watching the rest of this series!
Marlin...I must say your videos are very breathe taking and informational for very level of plant base LIFESTYLE...thanks for recipes I'm learn so much from your videos dishes..I'm lifestyle journey is a blooming flower of joy..Glad you've returned..sending love from East Texas 🌿🌿💐💐👍
This a beautiful video showing versatile cooking techniques for an array of lentils. Your new home is transforming nicely. When will you show more of your decorating progress? You have as good eye for minimal zen style.
lovely, thank you so much :) Made a dahl for lunch (love lentils). You can also add kombu seaweed when cooking the green/brown/black lentils so that they are more digestable for people who need it (macrobiotic diet).
An absolutely FABULOUS idea for the series! I am very excited for the rest of it! And the first topic is perfectly chosen! Lentils are so versatile, nutritious and delicious!
Yum! This looks great! I don’t use lentils as much as I could because, honestly, I never grew up eating them, so I never knew what to do with them. Thanks for this video. I’ll have to up my lentil game.
i have so many lentils (tinned and dry) that i've been trying to figure out what to do with so this is perfect, thank you!! hope you're doing well and staying safe!
So nice to see you. Your food always looks so delicious! The music and your voice are very calming too. And thanks for posting the recipes! Glad you are staying safe and healthy 🌷
I loved the preface for the video and for each recipe! It made the video much more informative and interesting! Also, the shots and the edit were (as always!) incredibly beautiful. Charming, calming and eye-pleasingmaking it a PERFECT video for....pretty much any time of the day, year or even decade :D
What a delight to see you Malin! This is already the making of a wonderful series. I have a bag of green lentils and am inspired to trying something new with them. Thank you for sharing your creativity - cannot wait for the next videos!!
I just want to add an additional ingredient for the red lentil soup, I made this not to long ago and I also added turnips which went really well together because turnip also goes with lemon and onion. I love adding extra veggies in my soups and stews :-)
Beautiful video! The recipes are straight forward and realistic. My toddler poops out the beluga lentils whole, so I tend to use red lentils on just blend them if I still want a dark lentil for the iron contents and better absorption. Red lentils soup with lemon and yellow miso is delicious!!!
Your recipes are just amazing!! Everything is so different and yet I find that are made with ingredients that I already have in my pantry! Thank you for the inspiration!
I've only recently discovered your channel all ,the recipes Ive seen look amazing & tasty,I love the ingredients combinations...I'm definitely going to try as many as I can.thank.you for sharing .
Lentils are one of my favorite foods! These recipes all look delicious. I love the combination of textures and colors in the salad. Also, your pottery is gorgeous!
I just found your channel I absolutely love it. I work the graveyard shift and Your channel is the one that we put on during our shift. thank you for making our shift enjoyable . looking forward for more of your videos. I am asked by one of my co workers if you could tell us if you make your own pottery “dishes” .. the dishes , bowls etc are beautiful.. Thank you 💕💐
lol! Çorba means soup in Turkish, and it means some really meaty soup in Ukranian. We also put one chopped potato to lentil soup to help with consistency. If you add bulgur, then it becomes ezogelin çorbası :) We also add tomato puree if the tomatoes are in season :) Greeting from Copenheng! They all look yummy!
At the beginning of the shutdown I tried to order 2 lbs of French clay lentils. I accidentally ordered 10 lbs instead. I need as many lentil recipes as possible!
Glad to see you gain 😍, and yes we (the middle eastern country) called for any kind of soup. “shurba / shurbat ” means soup . Like lentil soup we said “ shurbat Adas “ lentil means adas in Arabic
Molla Molla i was just going to comment the same thing but instead say in turkish it's "çorba" which only means soup, if you want to say lentil soup it's "mercimek çorbası" 🤭
Just love these lentil recipes, very inspiring. If I had to choose a favourite it’s probably the patties, but the soup sounds amazingly simple to make and freeze. I’ve just got really into roasting carrots, so the lentil salad looks like the one to make this week, love the almonds on it but dried cranberries I am not sure about. Love them on my porridge though 😋
These look so yummy! I'm new to your channel and blog - looking forward to visiting more often. Also love the small pottery bowls with ribbing pattern. Where did you buy them?
I ALWAYS cook my lentils with some aromatics :D It honestly makes the biggest difference and is worth that little extra effort as you can taste it in the final product- especially when the lentils are the star of the dish! The recipes you've come up with are fantastic! I will be definitely trying to switch my lentil game with some of your tips!
Great video and lentil recipes. My favourite lentil recipes are Lentil Dahl, Lentil and Mushroom shepherd pie and Lentil Bolognese. Keep safe and well everyone.
I love almost all kinds of lentils except the beluga ones. They lose most of their nice color once cooked, and have a pretty dense/floury texture. Puy lentils are so much better texture and tatse wise IMHO (and i don't say this because i'm french 😂😂😂) All legumes and beans make amazing hummus 😍, purées, soups and go so well in salads ❤❤❤🤤
The Mustard Dressed Beluga Lentil Salad is still my very favorite whole meal salad. Thank you for sharing this tasty salad!

Oh my goodness! Those Falafel lettuce wraps look divine!
I'm not vegan but I love your recipes and I find very relaxing to hear you speak :)
I subbed not only because of the lovely recipes, however also as your voice is so soothing! Love listening while I cook 👩🍳
Very happy to see your video again. Is always very calming and that's needed in these times. Take care and be safe, hi from Puerto Rico.

I've heard about the kombu qualities. I'm not a fan of algae taste sadly. Does kombu transfer its taste to the legumes ? Thank you 🙏
@@marionkine I use them and my answer would be no, but then again I like algae. They don't all taste the same!
An absolutely FABULOUS idea for the series! I am very excited for the rest of it!

Shorba in Urdu also means sauce/stew as well. It’s interesting how in different languages it’s the same.
Perfect 👌 ☺️
Glad you know correctly about Indian dal's!
That red lentil soup looks divine! I hope my grocery store has some red lentils in stock 🤞🏻

it's fall here in Argentina and lentils are a big part of my diet because they are so good and worm😁🌱 nice recipes
Aw perfect !!
Jättebra video som vanligt! Jag tycker om linser men vet inte hur jag ska använda dom förutom i dhal så det här var toppen!

Finally new video!!
Look so delicious💟
Thank you queen!!!
Hope you and Rob are doing well, much love from Spain ♥️
Your videos are always so beautiful
I like to buy the lentil in dry pack. I think “canned lentil” might have preservative or something’s. Thanks for sharing those informations
You're so beautiful!! You kind of remind me of Miranda from SATC haha
I have Dukkah nut and spice blend, I'm wondering if that would go well with serving on the red lentil soup, does anyone know please reply? :-)
My lentil trick is to cook them in a ride cooker. 15-20 mins.
