Very pretty sunny chimes and I love the movement and the look of the movement in the back. And I also love how instead of a floating balance wheel like most men or clocks have I love how it has the ticking almost like a wrist watch or a pocket watch taking or like those wind up alarm clocks. You don’t see those very much on Mantel Clocks but there are a few with them. And I think that’s pretty neat where it sounds just like either a register a pocket watch that you wind up or one of those wind up alarm clocks I love her texts like that
That's a very nice clean example. I used to own one which had the J.W. Benson name on it, but I sold it. I now have one of these movements without a case, and I find that the chimes slow down half way through the hour chime. I have cleaned and oiled all moving parts as appropriate, but still it slows down when unlocking the striking train. Nice clock. Keep up the good work!
@glisses7 You're welcome. Another news, I have buy Jauch triple chime wall clock, the clock already deliver yesterday, the clock needs to be rebuild and movement needs to be repaired, i will post my Jauch clock video when i already finish rebuild the clock. Regards.
Thanks, man. I'm glad you enjoy it. I hope your clock will be good. About chime still slow down after clean and oiled, maybe i think you need change a new mainspring. Maybe your movement mainspring is weak, that's why chime speed is very slow.
Yeah I noticed that because the way whittington sounds on the clocks in the U.S. is slightly different. This one is almost like a combination of American Whittington and St. Michael's.

Back in the day
Yep
This is the London Whittington, not the American.
herdjati pravito Jauch Triple chime movements and Hermle Triple Chime Clocks have American Whittington even though both Jauch and Hermle are German
But I like westminister and st. Micheals
