    This is bs. Foster services would care for all the costs of surgeries for foster kids

      Depends on the state. The kids medical needs are usually covered by the state insurance but if the state insurance says the surgery or treatment isn't covered than the kids are usually shit out of luck. The foster parents need to be showing up to the court hearings and telling the judge the child needs this procedure if the social workers are not doing their job in helping.

    The poster's parents overspend in order to foster children, and this puts the whole family in a weakened financial state. getting away from them sounds like a wise choice right now.
