- On our way back from New England we stopped down in Panama City, Florida to fish with our buddy Josh from Heritage Excursions. Josh is a charter captain specializing in bottom fishing the Gulf of Mexico. We set out to deep drop for deep sea grouper species, such as snowy and yellow-edge grouper. As we went from spot to spot we noticed a big school of tuna and started casting poppers into them and immediately hooked up! Fun day of fishing the gulf of Mexico and look forward to the first half of the day which is in a separate video coming up!

For bein my neighbor, Josh from heritage Excursions, I definitely did not expect to find out he went out with Vik on the day I was cleanin his boat but I am so happy I got to meet Vik and have that opportunity! 🙂

I'm dumbfounded that anyone could/would downvote this video. Victor and Brooke are fun, gracious, and as real as people can be. I've been watching Victor's skills in the kitchen getting better and better, to the point where I'd kill to get a seat at the table if was the Chef! The fishing action is always well chronicled, and just Fun! One of the reasons why I like yours and Brook’s videos is because you explain things in plain English. A lot of fishing videos are guys talking in code, like we understand what they mean. You guys are really here to educate and show how to catch fish while the rest are just showing off! I appreciate you both!

Great video! Just a heads up, I believe the fillet at 14:22 had parasites in it at the top of the fillet. Doesn’t matter since you cooked it. Looked like a great meal!

Lots of people dont like deep drop because the electric reel but i think is a really fun relaxing fishing, great job!

How do you tell Warsaw and Snowy groupers apart? Do you find the two Juveniles grouper species impossible to tell apart? I looked into their defining physical traits and water depth they live in, and I still can't get enough information to tell them apart.
