I get that from my family who are unbelievers. They try to tell me I didn't raise my children right. I raised my children different from how I was raised. I am a Christian mother and I raised my children to be a Christian also.

My husband and I went threw a big family ordeal that we caused. We then turned to God and he brought us threw it and now we see the power of Gods grace. We came from brokenness and this message touches my heart in sooo many ways.

Anyone with a healthy family is abundantly blessed. You were very lucky pastor to have that in your lives. My husband's parents were alcoholics, he was placed in an orphanage at 7.... both past a year apart when he was round 20.
My parents divorced, dad remarried for 35 years. My mom married 3 times and had to cut her off and out of my life 12 years ago, because of manipulation etc....
My husband and I married 27 years, one boy.....missed having great grandparents in his life, that could help as you were telling your story. Hopefully we will be able to give that to our son 👌🏼🙏🏻🇿🇦

Off topic what version of the bible is the best for comprehension without losing so much in translation. King James version leaves me confused because its hard for me to comprehend what i am reading. I have ERV but its missing versus
I prefer the English Standard Version personally because it speaks in very American terms without losing the meaning. Otherwise the Holman Christian Standard Bible is a good one too. Hope it helps

Start fasting regularly for your husband. Stop complaining even when it hurts, run to your Father, let Him know your heart, and abandon your feelings and pain and constant disappointment in His mighty hands. I PROMISE YOU, God will show up in unexpected ways. You have a choice and it is not easy, but it is worthy. God bless you and keep you!
