This is a list of some pretty awesome Xbox 360 games that I hope end up being backwards compatible for the Xbox Series X at some point. I had a good time putting it together for everyone! What are some games that you'd like to see end up backwards compatible in the future?
It's for that reason that I still have an Xbox 360. I only have a handful of games that are not backwards compatible. Chronicles of Riddick is one of them. I also have Quake 4 and Wolfenstein (2009) and an RPG called El Shaddai which is actually kind of fun and interesting. Quake 4 is one of those game that I wish they would remake or remaster, or perhaps even re boot the series like they did with Doom. And I've always been a fan of the Wolfenstein series.
I would love to see both Transformers games added to the backward compatability list, hope Microsoft and Hasbro can work something out 😀. I bought WET years back when I randomly walked into Gamestop for $9.99. It's a pretty fun game. I love the fighting and shooting sequences. I wish it was backwards compatible to Xbox Series X. I bought Ninja Blade 2 months ago from Ebay for $40 [It was the cheapest one on there lol]. I wish this was also backwards compatible to Xbox Series X. None of the Spiderman games are backwards compatible on Xbox Series X because of licensing and they are expensive because Activision no longer holds the Marvel Comics IP nor the James Bond IP. The Simpsons Game is currently on my game search list.
You can play the Xbox One version of The Amazing Spider-man 2 on Series. And that´s the only Spider-man game available on Xbox right now so prices are sky high for a copy of this game
Warhammer 40K Space Marine would be really good, especially since the sequel is coming out. The 1st game deserves to be preserved. Also...Knights Contract, Splatterhouse, Neverdead, Ninety-Nine Nights 1 & 2, WET, Remember Me & Captain America are all games that they just don't make much of anymore. Some of those have no re-licensing issues, so it shouldn't be a huge problem. If anything, these games demand preservation on the newest Xbox consoles.
Some cool stuff! Splatterhouse is super expensive! Ninety-Nine Nights 1 and 2 are both solid games. That Captain America game went up a ton in price as well.

The orange box, L4D1 & 2, condemned 2: bloodshot, silent hill downpour, F.E.A.R.1, plus OG XBOX games: thief deadly shadows, the suffering, Cthulhu, silent hill 4: the room. I would pay for these (as opposed to running them on my rgh cbox 360!) if they were available.
@@Shaki123 We'll see! I never give up hope because there's tons of games missing from the program. And if Sony starts doing PS3 backward compatibility, it could put Microsoft in a poor spot.
@@thegamethrifter these games are missing for a reason. And the reason is that it's technically impossible due to how the games are coded. It's all done on Xbox hardware and software side without the need for the dev to patch it. Some games are coded in a weird way which prevents the games from working. On the Series X there will be NO MORE backwards compatibility, besides maybe some Activision stuff.
Modded 360 S is the way to go. RGH, JTAG or and Xk3y. External SSD to run the game file from. And a large HDD to back up your Game file library. So you can copy over to your SSD.

Microsoft is done with making any other games being playable on their Xbox one consoles the store is closing if you got rid of your 350 and original Xbox your going to have a hard time playing them the only console that was playing every game was the PS3 60 20 80 gb consoles they played every game but Xbox 360 isn’t going to play every original Xbox game it plays the most but since the original Xbox games don’t give achievements I don’t care

The Orange Box, L4D1 and 2 are backwards compatible.
