love you Ajahn Brahm. You're the BEST!!
I listen to many speakers, none as wonderful as Ajahn Brahm, but seldom hear meaningful talks on friendship. Something fairly basic, humans and animals, also so essential for fulfilment but most often left out is friendship with yourself. Thank you so very much.
love this man he is all we need. everyone needs to listen to him. i found him a few weeks ago and he has saved my life. and im very against guruism. he doesnt behave like that. he is not serious. he is real and fun. he is the bomb. thank you ajahn brahm. i want to be a monk.
They says it. Do it!?
Thank you Ajahn for sharing the Dhamma. Thank you for being a friend to so many and teaching so many how to create friendships with oneself and with others.

What a beautiful and moving story about the Dr. and his Patient 20yrs after she gave him milk and cookies.
I get SO sleepy listening to it. Some kind of magic with his voice :P
Thanks Ajahn Brahm. I was so down this evening. You made laugh and feel better about myself.
Dear Ajahn Brahm, Life changing talk. Thank you.
I saw jhana grove meditation retreat center on website. It's remind me "jethawanaramaya "in Buddha's day. Weldon .Ajan Brahm .We are lucky for listen to Buddha's teachings even after 2555 years.thank you!
i love Ajahan Brahm he is my dear friend, thanks for this beautiful talk
It's the "fair weather" friends that can hurt if you have to count on them. Is my body my slave? to a certain extent but AB has helped wake me up. Thank you.
I don’t make promises because I know I’m unreliable. I guess that’s why I’ve also expected others to be unreliable. Their words mean very little.
thanks a lot, i really enjoy your talk
Ajahn Brahm is my dhamma friend and teacher :)
I wish I had a dad like this guy. Too bad he hasn't married and had kids, he'd make a great dad, a great boss, a great business person...
I love the way he laughs in the face of obstacle and disappointment. He is rght on when pointing out that I always abused my own body Actually, I do not even treat others as strict and demanding as myself. That's great reminder. I need to be kind and gentle with my self. My body want to die to get rid of me...Haha. Great insight and reminder. Thank you. _(I)_ _(I)_ _(I)_
You are you own best friend (^.^)
🙏🏻🙇🙏🏻🙇🙏🏻🙇Ajahn Brahm
Thanks!!!!
There are trustworthy people in dodgy places too...I work in one and I consider myself fairly descent and honest
Very good :)

Thanks so much for a great talk ajahn brahm - you came to london? Im so sad i didnt get to meet you.. Please announce these events in your videos. Also I woul like to donate some money for the monastary, how may I do that online?
I think that what he was trying to say is: 'you should be a friend to your body' :)
Question : I have listened to a couple of these videos now and have actually found that I am being friendlier to others and myself. My problem is though that i always catch my self hoping karma will make this benefit me in the long run...Now, I believe this is wrong, if I am going to help some one I should help them because it is right, not because I hope that he is rich and will reward me(or something a long those lines). How can I be friendly without being motivated by karma? Thx for your resp
why do you say " fairly "
It s either you re honest or not but fairly honest ??? that s a bit dodgy wouldn'tyou say ?
Hi
Sorry but I don’t think this whole good karma returning to you is really a thing…. (Unless I have been really bad in a previous life?) I think it is more about ‘just add goodness/kindness to the mix of the world and it will make life on our little ball of dirt a little easier all round’.
Oh, sleepy head...
i think instead of telling the child to go ahead and leave home... the mother ought to have looked deep inside herself and saw right away that a 6 year old was crying out for attention.. what an example of abandonment to a child.. not good psychology at all...
I think you missed the point.
"when you are not control freak, you are a FRIEND to your body & mind."
