Not a bad idea, I am happy as long as it stays above freezing down there. It is still holding steady at 1 degree C even though we have been down at -20 to -26 C for about a week here.
People always wonder why I don't turn off the light in my cellar. I try and tell em that is the only thing keeping it from freezing in winter and if I turned it off I'd have to install a heater. Where's the saving in that?
