No thanks. I'm very happy with 4k now. I'll let you young enthusiasts empty your wallet for 8k at this time and keep bringing down the prices for the next 5 years (while i wait). Make sure to iron out all the kinks too. Good boy!
@@wa2368 -- Our own ability to view an image at 4k is beyond human eye resolution, heck, you would have to stand uncomfortably close to a monitor to see the difference between 4k and 8k. Just more sales gimmicks to get people to keep buying. Shame on you, corporations.
You can't watch 8K on a small screen regardless. To actually see those 8K pixels you need that many individual pixels on the screen. And for that you need a gigantic screen.
if your monitors max resolution is 1080P, 1440P, or 2160P or what ever. You are not going to get better quality by running it at 8K 4320P if your monitor does not PHYSICALLY support it full-stop only native resolution supported by your monitor.
People said that about 4k for a long time. Lots still say it. But here I am 3 feet from a 4k screen, clearly able to see the difference with AA on/off in games. I hope 8k changes that once it's remotely affordable to buy and run.
DLSS IS anti aliasing, its the same super sampling just did in a different way, like TAA or DSR was. we just have an actual "core" doing it, so its better.
I m pretty darn sure that Nvidia must have specifically asked not to drop it to Linus just how they said not to open till a certain date to Gamer Nexus.
Well there's RTX IO and its AMD equivalent, this tech allows games to have tons of assets with 8k textures and billions of geometries in relatively small file size because of heavy lossless compression. Those game data then decompressed through GPU, as it is too heavy for the CPU, while you're playing. It's like RDR2 but only 10 GB in total file size rather than 120 GB but with exact same quality & fidelity.
For the absolute biggest, yes. But you can get a Samsung 65" 8k for under three grand. The prices started falling immediately, even up to 82" for under $5k. Only the absolute largest are that expensive. Not that five grand isn't expensive, but it ain't thirty, lol.

Pixel density wise definitely. Though thats more noticeable with sight issues like i have. The only thing i own that i can read on without glasses is my ipad. A 8k 32inch monitor would have essentially the same pixel density. Higher resolutions also noticeably reduce eye strain for me.
@@MrProthall yes you can, easily even😂😂 I run dual 4k and if I have to scale my game down to 1440p (ehm Horizon ZD), it looks noticeably blurrier than 4K. About as big as a difference as between 720 and 1080p I'd say.
