I’ve been selling collectible cards for a long time. eBay has gotten INSANE with the amount of fees they take out. Not only that, but you no longer get to ship cards over a certain dollar amount directly to the customer. It has to go to a 3rd party verification facility. It doubles the shipping time. Also, I would typically give free cards to customers who spent over a certain dollar amount to add value. The authentication facility will cancel the sale and return to sender. If I buy something for $100 and sell it for $160, after fees and shipping, I’ll get around $110. It’s not worth it. Very sad how much they bend the sellers over.
Yeah that's why ppl are selling info on how to do it. If it was as profitable as the heyday they would just do it themselves now that it's practically over they sell themselves as gurus.
Yeah, ebay is ridiculous nowadays. Amazon should make a similar site for individual sellers to steal ebay’s business. But, at least you’ve still got your day, err, night job. I imagine good and cheap white lightning is selling like hot cakes nowadays.

It’s called retail arbitrage. Market is completely oversaturated but you might make $100 in a month. Spend $1000 and hundreds of hours to maybe make a tiny amount
Buy $100 worth of garage sales shit then sell $50 worth and get 9 months of messages asking "is this still available " without a follow up reply. Awesome!
That's a sucky mindset. Obviously you need to have some witts about you and know what you're buying.
The point is nothing is easy. Work is work! Send me some of your money that was so easily made. I bet you wouldn't because there was effort and time put into that money becoming productive. It's not easy or effortless, its a fucking fight.
@@Brian-yq9nv isn’t that like scamming? I would’ve felt like shit if I had done that to people knowing I only spent 80 to make 320 profits. Not for me, I don’t like scamming people.
@@codeitraw5241 not scam, just basic trading mechanics. Its how the world has worked since the beginning, and how the world works now, thats why anything you spend money to buy now, you're paying for the cost and they're getting profit on top as well
@@codeitraw5241 anything you buy, they getting profit by that logic you get scammed everyday
Look, I can understand how this works in the US where everyone basically lives in beautiful suburban houses, but I'm from São Paulo, Brazil. There's no such thing as a "house" here, only apartment buildings with security infrastructure everywhere. Can you suggest other ways to get some extra cash?
Every time I see him he reminds me of my friends dad, never cared about him, always at work, and scamming people left right and centre
