This must be Memphis in the middle of the night…really amazing operation ..every minute is timed for multiple take offs, landings, loads and unloads. Really incredible. Great video.

There's nothing like watching 100+ purple tails arrive one after another, only to take off the same way 3 hours later at the conclusion of the hub.Poetry in motion. Good views from Air Cargo Rd on the north side, or from Shelby Dr on the south side of the airfield.
MD10 and MD11 are my favorites ever.
Forget all those websites with "calming" music and sounds. I could listen to this All day!!! The roar of jet engines is soothing to me!!!!❤ I'm putting this on my playlist !!! 😂❤!!; Lol !!!

Chalomwong Hey there! I got some questions about the MD-11, Do you know the positions of all the exterior lights of the MD-11? If you do, could you tell me? I’m currently making a papercraft of it and i am trying to put exterior lights on it, it would be appreciated if you can tell the positions for me..

FrankTMP ...2 landing lights on fuselage forward left & right that can transit out when turned on for landing & stowed back into fuselage when off, 2 taxi lights on nose gear, 2 runway turn off lights on fuselage forward wing root , 2 forward position lights, left red ,right green. 2 white actually clear aft position lights 1 each wing, 2 wing,engine ,nacelle scan lights 1 each side , 4 high intensity or strobe lights on outboard wing tips 2 forward & 2 aft , 2 logo lights top side horz stab shining upwards on vert stab. 2 anti collision lights 1 upper 1 lower fuselage (we call them beacons) red flashing . I believe thats it my friend

I will never understand how Boeing and FedEx couldn't come to an agreement on new build 757's just for FedEx to order 757SFs. And yes I know used planes are cheaper on initial costs.

The first Md11 had PW engines...I thought all Fedex MD11 were equipped with GE.

David ... Memphis IS the world hub for FedEx. It is also the reason Memphis has three N/S runways as well as an E/W runway. For twenty years Memphis was the largest Cargo Hub in the US and was the largest in the world until Hong Kong edged out the #1 spot. Memphis is now a very close #2 and no other airport in the world is even close.
Memphis been working at FedEx for 15 years loading and offloading these very planes that are in these videos
And it is a great experience
FedEx keeps their birds clean like Connie K does.

This the OG FedEx that's how they started as air service only. Express and those planes are their most precious division and the money maker. The worst is Ground and we all know that 😂😂

Willamis Bezerra there are passenger flights. But between 2am and 5am it is pretty much only Fedex operating
