I love how even when she is a researcher and Joe is basically a musclehead their personalities are pretty much alike
Both can be pretty passionate about Muay Thai for different reasons, so Joe being Preecha's teacher works so well!

@@ameerrusdi2540 Joe while being presented as comic relief has also been presented as an undefeated Muay Thai World Champion. So it makes sense that people would seek him out to train under him.
@@IrishKyokushin plus her lore to learn Mua thai is for science to know what ki is and she hate to feel pain but endure for science and watching people using their power to collect data and looks like Joe is good as at teaching people she already pretty good using his style

Oh! Her tornado projectiles work similarly to K's, where she first summons a hurricane and then does a command later to send wherever. That's cool.That in itself makes her different enough from Joe's Hurricane Upper. She needs more of Joe's moves, tho.
I said she's like Marco they have some of the teacher move but with their own style of move so make sense she used her Mua thai differently than Joe

@@ameerrusdi2540 if Joe is in the game that's awesome. Give him other 2 or 3 new moves, different than Preecha's and we're good to go. Having master and student with similar moves with different properties, and different moves to make them stand out from each other.

A lot of the super secret special moves seem to involve tornadoes. Terry, Tizoc, and now Preecha too. Interesting.

Looks great. The only thing I don't like so far is the size of the texts flooding the sides of the screen constantly.
_Counter Hit_ already has a pretty noticeable visual cue so it could be shoretened to _Counter_ and made smaller.
Same for _Just Defended_ and I don't know how useful is _Punish_ considering it's bound to happen very often.
The combo hit counter has the smallest font size and it should be the biggest imo.
I'd love to see some high level Rock gameplay if it exists. He's my favorite SNK character.

Game looks greater and greater everytime I see it. Something unrelated to the gameplay, but it distracted me so much that I figured I'd additionally drop this comment to ask if anyone else noticed that the announcer sounds like it might be David Lodge? 🤔
I played guy in SF and got Kimberly and I played Joe in FF and got Preecha. guess its just one of those years
"New generation" a very old concept in japanese pop culture now btw. DBZ, that popularized time skips, growing up, and having children who grow and learn how to fight, is an anime from the 80s. And a game like Tekken 3, from 96, with the addition of Jin was already introducing the 3rd step in the generation of practicioners of the same fighting style. KOF has a considerable number of older and younger practicioners of the same fighting style. And of course the original Garou MOTW is from the late 90s and, as a "new generation" game, has students, sons, etc.
Maybe that phenomenon made a stronger impression lately because you must be focusing on SF, which just doesnt do too much of that. Other franchises are more inclined to creative explorations of that kind to show the story is moving on, something that SF never was notable for, until recent titles.

Traditionally Fatal Fury and The King of Fighters play in a very similar style except some Fatal Fury games changed up what buttons do what, but even then the Fatal Fury feel, which KOF copies, is still there.

Preccha and Marco caught my attention the most. I hope this game is good. I play guitar gear strive for 90 hours and hated the damn game. Played grand blue rising for 30 hours and didn't enjoy it. Played kof15 for 40 hours and can't seem to enjoy it. I love Street Fighter 6 (600 hours in and still enjoying it).
I suggest playing the original Garou MOTW, if you dont have experience with it, to get an idea of how the game is. This game is just expanding the system a bit, it's not a sequel like SF sequels, that have considerable changes.

Very good now to wait for the full game and see afterwards what the future holds now to wait for Jenet & Mai their designs that will determine if everything is still normal or if getting a PlayStation 5 could very well be the biggest mistake I've ever made as far as gaming goes and quite a long time just only the flat out truth from here on out
No Mai No Buy 2?
The last Fatal Fury and it's cancelled sequel did not have Mai. Imagine how much better Garou: Mark of the Wolves would be with Mai in it.
Also, KOFXI and KOFXII don't have Mai either cause of that lame artist employee saying he wasn't a fan. Well, they somewhat made up for no Mai in KOFXI by adding her to the console release, but still, no Mai in the arcade version sucks. Funny that KOFXI and KOFXII are games SNK straight up ignores and does not re-release in anyway.
Wish they remake KOF 98 and last blade with this engine

It was high-level & not clickbait I mean the Rock player did fumble yet that Preecha player did optimal combo,neutral and defense

It really reminds me of pre-Strive Guilty Gear with all the instant blocks, Faultless Defense, REV Accel (kinda like a Roman Cancel). The REV Gauge reminds me of the Tension gauge.

Too many games from them come out and have garbage netcode or serious issues on launch that take months to fix if they ever do.

High level? Pfff cmon the game is nowhere being out. I understand trying get views but let’s not get ahead of ourselves now. NO ONE is playing this at high level yet.
She doesn't look like she belongs in this game. Whoever designed her needs to give some of that love to the rest of the cast. When I look at everybody else, it kinda feels like this game's visuals have improved but not that much, but when I see preecha, it's wow this game looks amazing. Her animations feel more fluid, and her personality shines through better. The rest of the cast needs a bit of work. Though the stages have been pretty nice so far.

Did ya know thag Fatal Fury is called Garou Densetsu in Japan, not jusy Garou. Garou only applies to Mark of the Wolves, technically the first console port of it was called Fatal Fury: Mark of the Wolves. Another pointless note: This is upcoming game is the third Garou game, not the second. The second was nearly 3/4 done being made when it was cancelled. All that we received from the second Garou game was 2 screenshots of a TV running the AES version (or most likely the MVS version running on a TV) and a single sprite from each character in the game. The only known stage for that game was at the top of a waterfall-like environment.
