Today 343 have released a new Update for Halo infinite, alongside a new event "Operation: Anvil" Bringing a ton of new items for players to earn in the exchange, some new store bundles with some crazy price tags, and even a new game mode!!

The advertised operation armor(Spartan Surplus) being swapped out last minute to be put into the shop is incredibly scummy and needs to be called out. Stuff like that is unacceptable and I hope the community will finally make a stand because this is a dangerous line to let 343 cross.

@darkspark5854 Because we're saying, not doing. Believe it or not voting with your wallet works. And the only reason 343 is going for the mile on this is because the community has overwhelmingly voted that its acceptable to be bent over in the shop.
Man i was hoping to get that Shoulder because mark IV shoulders and armor in general IS F* LACKING. And 343 decided to scrap and sell them. Just is it that hard to come up with something new?
They just want the whales to toss money at the shop at this point
@White_Wookey So it would seem. It's a shame really, I'd love to throw my money at quality updates. But these scummy business practices and low effort operations, and the absurdly high prices in the exchange are just too much. I'll be waiting for the next game, ideally with 343 as far away from the Helm as possible
Micro transactions should be banned just like how loot boxes were. US Courts need to come back in

I didn't realize exactly how much I had until I looked in the store/exchange myself.
Spartan Points exclusive items being in the catalogue is something I wasn't expecting, very nice

It's me. I'm the problem... and I'm beginning to think my spirit animal is a crow.
I'm usually pretty savvy about my money spending, yet despite using barely any of the cosmetics I own and knowing they're incredibly overpriced regardless, I somehow get pulled into buying the expensive bundles. I see shiny, and I can't resist, and that's incredibly unhelpful for trying to get 343 to lower the prices.
(Disclaimer: I'm still careful enough to not try and overextend my money use- I might buy worthless game cosmetics that I barely use, but I'm not quite dumb enough to put myself in financial danger over it. Just so nobody's worried.)

Just realized that 343 added a 2nd shop before a 2nd weapon over the span of 2.5 years
This is one of the best shops in a while. It’s been like since season 3 when we got bundles for like 1200 or less.
The prices for most the returning stuff is honestly quite solid, it's just the newer items...

i maintain my theory that they replaced the mk4 pass for banished because the mk4 sold really well on the store
30k sp for the coatings is still dumb imo. also, one of the older free br75 models is advertised in the trailer but never came to the exchange. apart from that its a decent cosmetic update
Which br model I only saw the fire gunmetal coating on a default br model
Also it is dumb to put coatings at 30k because you can’t do that in one month and now there’s 2 coatings at 30k. I thought 343 was gonna take feedback but clearly not

30k for Djin’s coating….yea never going to have enough for that
They dropped the 2 30k coating down to 20k now

Morrigan helmet bought but I really wanted the Mark V Zeta helmet in the exchange
will be grinding this battlepass for that helmet, got lazy on the mandalorian looking one
Even if I already have most of it it is nice to see a lot of popular items returning to the exchange, and the premium pass purchase bonus is actually good this time :D (also glad to see you were finally able to upload after the xbox servers died painfully)

Where did you get those shoulder pads? The flat ones you had on before the jacket bundle.
I'm either using the shoulder pads from tenrai 4, or a set from season 2s battle pass depending which core was shown I think?
The only new good thing about the shop refresh is the fact it has the first bundle where you can buy it individually instead of the full thing.
The server is still down for me, unfortunately.

That was until we all realized 343 had essentially abandoned Infinite a few months back and had no further plans after this summer's content (which was actually revealed months ago)
I literally see no reason to continue buying into a game thats essentially dead already...I thought originally that they truly had a 10 year plan but it turned out to be a 2 and a half year plan

That’s supposed to be elite themed? Not even remotely close! The armor I made for each of my Spartans looks much more like elite armor!
It’s actually Jackle armor, (the ones from the shop)
THE XBOX SERVERS ARE BACK
The only coating made for specific groups of people that isn’t bad imo, was the black history month coating. And, it only looks stellar on the yoroi core. Every other coating and accompanying visor is basically dogsh*t ugly. It’s insulting to the communities that they are supposed to pander to. I literally tried to other coatings and visors on EVERY core, and they all looked bad, especially the most recent ones. The visors in particular are hideous. I got nothing against the people these coatings represent, but if something is ugly, I call it like it is. The most recent one, the one that Magpieleon showed, is meh at best.
Mfrs will make elite inspired spartan armor instead of putting elites in the game

Why doesn’t the shop change daily that’s like the biggest downgrade for me
WHY THE HELL DONT THEY PUT THESE IN A BATTLE PASS, i get they want money and kinda need it but holy cow its so damn annoying. It blows me away how they just pumped all the cool stuff into the shop and gave half decent armor for free, and not to mention 90% of the tiers in the operations are spartan points. Also those jackle themed armors could've been easily put into the operation of an easy 50 tier pass but 343 just had to put it in the store, and why dont they sell both bundles seperatly as an option? I dont wanna pay 45 dollars for 2 bundles lol. 343 can go suck one.

I completely lost my motivation to play this game. I was so happy and so excited for 10 year plan. This game still has so much potential but instead it just turned into a glorified cosmetic shop.
It would be so cool if the game would actually work on steam but 343 sucks and porting games over to pc
