Hieee, thank you so much for watching and supporting my channel. It truly means the world to me! 🥹 I plan to record a video where I reflect on my time abroad and share all the tips, advice, and knowledge I’ve gained about studying abroad and traveling to South Korea. Let me know in the comments what topics or questions you’d like me to cover in the video. I’d love to hear your thoughts and make this as helpful as possible for you!! Thank you again for all the love and support, love y'all!!! 🥰🥰
What made you decide on Yonsei? Currenly looking at different schools in seoul, but the main contestans for my program is Yonsei and Korea University. And since you lived in the dormitory, what is it like to have a roommate? I can't really decide weather to pick a solo room or double room, since I can see the pros and cons for both. Btw love you videos
Awwwee thank you so much for your support and love!! 💕 I mainly chose Yonsei because it seemed more international friendly. Most of the content creators I found on youtube went there, so that helped me a lot. As for korea university, I wasnt able to get any insider look of typical foreigner life there, especially women of color. But people from korea did tell me that KU is much more rigorous in academics while Yonsei is in the dab middle of seoul and the life of international students are more fun. Hopefully that is helpful ☺️
heyy 🤗 !! of course, I can go deeper into that in the reflection video. What do you mean be stats though?? lol like stuff like gpa and extracurricular activities I had when I applied to study abroad?
Hey! Im applying to study abroad at yonsei for next school year! Im pretty sure im going to go for sk global, but for woojungwon is that also a choice for all study abroad students or did you go through a different process. Because I think the i=only ones ive seen are IHouse and SKglobal
Hiieeee!! Congrats!!! I’m so excited for you 🥳🥳 I went with the study abroad program, CIEE, and at that time, they offered Woojungwon and SK Global House as dormitory options. I believe the options might be different if you’re applying directly through Yonsei or using another study abroad program, but hopefully, this helps answer your questions! Wishing you nothing but happiness during your time abroad!! 🤍☺️
to be honest, that is a hard question for me to know exactly and answer honestly... i feel like as an international student, it may be less challenging seeing that yonsei wants and encourages international/foreign students to attend the university. hopefully that answers your question a bit ☺️
That’s so exciting! Definitely check out my blog post site: www.ciee.org/author/florieshab I talk a lot about my experience and provide tips here and there! Best of luck with the application process 😊
Good question!! I can’t remember how much money I spent but I will talk about in my reflection video soon!! I’ll try to gather as much information 🤗🤗 stay tuned!!
ellooooo~ i'm gonna be so honest with you.. lol, i was a straight a student ( i was such a little over achiever 🤓) i will say though, these study abroad programs mostly pay attention to your college transcript...unless you plan on going abroad in high school, then I guess your grades would matter then. But i do think that the minimum gpa for studying abroad is 3.0 (i would double check though!) 🤗🤗
hiee!!! All of my courses were taught in English except for my KLI class (Korean Language Course). And no, you don't have to know Korean before applying to Yonsei!! I will be talking about this in an upcoming video soon 🤗 thank for watching!!
I will def touch on that in the reflection video!! But in the meantime you can check out this blog post (www.ciee.org/go-abroad/college-study-abroad/blog/my-experience-being-black-woman-south-korea), it's where I talk about my experience being a black women in korea!! Hopefully that was helpful but I promise I will speak about it in the video!! 🤗🤗 stay tuned!!
