I have the TH685i model and i love it. I came from a 50” vizio and definitely a gamechanger. I have my ps5 hooked up to it and it looks gorgeous. Worth every penny.
Hello, can you tell me, how you did it, to adjust the color and the tint, because by doing advanced adjustment, there is nothing to indicate where I am not seen .... and thank you for your videos of good humor😀👍 benq th685
My brother has the regular TH685 and i have the TH685i. Difference is the i comes with the smart tv box which i dont even use since i have an appletv. Its up to your preference and what you have/don’t have.
Do you still use this projector? see im a bit worried, my current projector is 720p 120hz and its contast ration is 20,000:1 and its pretty nice, but i noticed this one is 10,000:1 and it seemed pretty washed out in this video especially during earlier clips with lighting, i stream with it you see and can't keep streaming in darkness, and my current bulb is dying so im debating £120 for a bulb or £650 to upgrade and im still on the fence. at around 5:50 i don't know how you even saw anyone in the shadows it all kind of merges, i know it could be the camera picking it up hence why im asking, thanks.
I don’t believe this one is 10,000:1... with HDR support it should be much higher. However the TH585 (not the one in this video TH685) is rated at 10,000:1 maybe you might have these confused?
I think it's due to the way this footage was captured, I've seen several other reviews that have much better picture quality coming out of the same projector. I think the washed out color banding is just an artifact when recording DLP projectors unless you really mess with your camera. Watch TheTanelChannel's review of the 685 and it looks so much better
I use a projector now for a while. I'm getting the new Xbox when it comes out and I feel like not having a 4k would limit the point of having such a powerful system. I'm waiting to see what projector will work best with the new system
@@razzle3993 yea, I love it. Picture is great and it's responsive. as far as image quality there's no reason to spend more in a projector this one seems to do pretty well with games and movies and everything

How did movies look on it?
Nice review, hopefully it'll go on sale later this year. I'm curious to how it looks in Eco mode.

How do you (or anyone who sees this) think this projector would fare as a dedicated sim racing setup through an Xbox One X?
It would be great for racing games, just try to play the ones that run at 60 fps that way it feels responsive and fast.
That rainbowing is really turning me off of it

I keep going back and forth between this and the hd39hdr. Can't find a review comparison. :(
Ian Malone which is better from your research?
I saw in a review that you can't change keystone correction in gaming mode with the hd39hdr. that made it a no go for me
