STEP 1: TURN ON SCOOTER.
STEP 2: LAUNCH AOVOPRO, CONNECT BLUETOOTH
STEP 3: GO TO: SETTINGS, FIRMWARE UPGRADE, UPGRADE FIRMWARE.
STEP 4: UPGRADE FIRMWARE, CLOSE AOVO PRO APP ON 10%.
STEP 5: LAUNCH AOVO PRO APP AGAIN, REPEAT STEP 3, SELECT "B-01.0.11K" AND UPDATE!

THE FIRMWARE IS A LITTLE BUGGY AND STOPS YOU FROM USING THE BUTTON ON DASH TO CYCLE MODES AND HEADLIGHT.
HOWEVER MODES CAN STILL BE SWITCHED AND LIGHT ENABLED VIA APP!

TRY 365PRO/Go APP INSTEAD OF AOVOPRO FOR THOSE WHO ARE HAVING DIFFICULTY WITH AOVOPRO APP!

This is not working with my AovoPro it’s not letting my update the firmware????
I have an Aovo S3 new. The speed it displays is not correct. When the Aovo displays 45 km/h my Xiaomi displays 28 km/h. This is when both scooters are at the same speed...
Don’t do this after a while it damages your scooter and makes it weaker just make the speed max 20mph it’s enough and won’t damage your scooter

@@Sk04038it stress both the motor and battery so you use it sparingly then it might be ok for a couple of months, but if the use is daily or weekly trips then it will eventually lose performance and range and won't be able to go the default speed and range.

It doesn’t work for me. I don’t have a firmware upgrade button, and when I set it to anything above 31 it just rolls back to 31. Pretty sure this is fake clickbait.

Bricked my scooter , does 28mph but cuts out , voltage too high when updating firmware , don’t do it and brick your scooter
do gps with it, it only goes upto 30kmph but makes more noise as its says 28mph xD
Ah guys if you saw further down how exited I was when I discovered this. Well after a while it slowly weakens your scooter when riding at such speeds and part of the frame has completely snapped probably sending myself to hospital had I been going faster than 5 mph. Look at all the possible problems, battery over heating and melting, fuses going, just general technical problems all for a little bit more speed. It’s up to you guys but after what I have just experienced with my scooter it’s not worth it I might have had a faulty scooter but combined with this hack it’s not worth your health and safety. Don’t do it guys.

@@mrdax2758 no worries bro yeah man im good thanks a little annoyed but just glad I never injured myself and wouldn’t want anyone els to experience it really shocked me when it happened because it looked like the folding mechanism had gone but instead the entire bar had snapped clean and it folded up in slow motion 😭😂 you live and you learn in this life ah

I have this scooter and 31 kph is cool to enjoy, is already faster than most scooter, more speed could damage yourself and the scooter, because it's not made for going at 45kph. Anyways thanks for sharing this
What’s the max range and did you adjust the speed through the app
@@Content2live the range depends on the speed, about 15 km at max speed, in the app you can set the max speed up to 31 km/h

@@Content2live a bit less then 1 hour at 31km/h or 19 mph , about 20-25 km range at highest acceleration , maybe 25-30 at stock acceleration
at lower speed an hour and 15+- , 30-35km range at stock and about 30 at highest acceleration ,
range isn't fantastic when everything is at Highest settings , but that's normal , it's only a 10.5 battery ,
they are priced down to 259 euro at the moment , if you're still looking for one ,
i ordered a mat you normally put under a washing machine to go against vibrations , i find it's a bit needed with this one
it has rubber tires , but still get descent shocks from some bumps and things , bad streets aren't pleasant either
anything with actual air tires that are big and rubber , made for off-roading ,
and go for one that gets to 45km/h , 31 is still so damn slow when you're standing upright and ease in to it ,
boredom overcomes you on strait pieces of road ,
when coming out of a bend and you pull up , you're at the 31 speed in 1-2 seconds ... ,
that really isn't a long nice feeling of pulling up with a motorized vehicle , it's a bit sad actually ;)
If it ain't made for those speeds, then why does it have the option on the app?

It dose work but its rubbish probly makes it 2mph faster if that and just makes the speedo lie to you telling you your doing 28mph when really your doing like 20 and kills the acceleration and the battery

Is this safe for the motor? I just bought this thing. 19mph is fast enough. Id love to try it, but id rather not burn out my motor.
first of all this is old as heell and dont do it it will beak ur scooter
@@taahid9073 Does it crash the hardware or something ? Or does it over load circuits ? Perhaps the motor ?
I'm not going do it, but I wouldn't try this unless I felt comfortable modifying the key components. Perhaps a higher capacity cell with some sort of inverter to keep the current constant without stress.
Electric vehicles are not the same as a ethanol engine.
Help!!.. I have P on the screen after cancelling. Now in the app it will connect but there are no 'Available Versions' and 'Firmware upgrade' is just grey.
For anyone else reading this, I kept trying the firmware, tried a reset (turn off, then push throttle, brake and power on at the same time). It still didn't work, but kept trying the firmware and after about 20-30 minutes it allowed me to do the update and all is good.
Mines currently doing the same
All you have to do is press the p again on the app and it will unlock it

I receive my aovo yesterday, and honestly that scoot with this tyres is very very dangerous with 28mph.
I give it to my 8yrs boy to ride on eco mode. Then i try it on sport , do 30kmph on 70% with me , i am 105kg. Its very fast.
But guys, with that solid small tyres 1 inch curb is enough to make you falling down. 31kmh !! To understand that speed, take one bicycle and ride it with 16-7kmh you need fast cycling for that speed, imagine what is 31kmp 😆.... Think safe.

@@SpikeTF2 i go to 64 with my bafang mid drive when i cycle like crazy, but that scooter don't have the stability of a bicycle, wide handle big tyres, body position.
I did 60 kmh on a big downhill on mtb

Hey Nathan. Go into settings, tap current unit and the mph and kph comes up, just tap mph mate. That's how I changed mine

Why does my scooter display UF when I go into either advanced settings of firmware update menu on the app? Really want to do this but it's not playing.
That's because you are making changes and while making changes it wont let you ride it, so UF is like parking mode
Its waiting for you to make a change or back out so you can ride it again

Yeah still haven't seen anyone actually prove they're are going faster. The scooter might say 28mph, doesn't mean it's going that fast. Lots of comments of people who done this hack saying "It doesn't feel any faster".

I would just go back to stock firmware, it allows 31kmh anyways and you'll know it's safe for battery pack. Plus I'm seeing alot of people saying they lose some acceleration for this "increase" in top speed...

Nope aovo have taken firmware b-01.0.11k off the app . Leave a 1 star review for the scooter asking for the firmware b-01.0.11k to be put back on the app. The more people do it the quicker it gets put back . Tell them you put 5 star when it's back.

A little bit but not really. The battery will obviously run out faster but your also getting to your destination faster aswell so I wouldn't say so.

P means its on lock, its most likely a bluetooth problem that stops you from unlocking it

@@LetMeShowYouIt it might depends on your phone and what app version you have I would not recommend doing it at all it will destroy the scooter.
Blew my battery doing this.. got it fixed.. chipped scooter to do 21mph but now my motor is going and it gonna cost another 100£ to fix that now.. not worth chipping it unless you upgrade motor and battery then you can do 45mph

Thats actualy not working well, I tried this setting all looks good, BUT! Does anyone try compare this speed with GPS? I found that speed doesnt fit with GPS speed. 45km/h(hacked) = 31km/h (GPS speed) so result is, this "hack" is absolute uselless. :D

After this firmware update the motor won't go but I figured out how to make it go again!
You have to switch two wires from the controller board to the motor! Switch so the yellow go's to the blue and the blue to the yellow.
My elscoter motor do not go

The 3 wires yellow, green and blue that goes to the main board. Just swap the yellow and blue wires and you are good to go again!

I have exactly the same problem I have both tried and closed the app at 10% and at 20% but nothing works I do not know about it because we have the latest model also you have to close the app at a different number of% or whatever it may be hope someone can help

Not recommended, the scooter is already illegal, and if you get catch by the police the problem will be bigger with that speed

Is not waterproof 😅😅. They don't have any rubber seals and connectors are covered in plastic glue... you know those glue guns you can pick from any pound shop.
