Reviewing The ESV Journaling Study Bible

The ESV Journaling Study Bible accomplishes the feat of being both a wide-margin journaling Bible AND a study Bible. This Bible merges the flagship ESV Study Bible with the increasingly popular journaling Bible market, but the result is far from a copy-and-paste method. When we look at the structure and the study notes of this Bible, it is a unique take on the ESV Study Bible aesthetic, and in my opinion, this Bible makes for a great unique offering in Crossway's Bible lineup. Here's my honest in-depth review.

The study notes come from the ESV Student study Bible. And the Bible paper holds up well to mildliners, tombow markers, and micron pens. There is shadowing but no bleed through with those in mine. Other pens can bleed.

I was thinking that something like this would be a good idea. I am puzzled why this bible never came up when I searched for study bibles, or journaling bibles. Thanks for the video.

Yeah that’s weird. I happened to stumble across this when I was looking at Crossway’s website. It’s definitely
not being marketed like the other ones 🤷🏻‍♂️

I have this same Bible and it’s the same exact notes and text block as the ESV Student Study Bible. Micron pens 001 and Uniball ONE pens do not bleed through!
