Hi Painless 360, great video! First time ever using prop balance, after watching your video. I fly twin motors and did 6 propellers under 15 min. The method was smooth and the guessing of how much take to use and/or take off came quickly. May your flights be true and your landings upright. Thanks for the shoot out to us Americans.....yes we like our X-acto knifes.
Does the hub/shaft size adapter need to be balanced too? Many of the plastic propellers come with it, and they have artifacts from molding process, plus once detached from the cluster it has nicks/dents. It's small, balancing just the adapter on it's own is tricky. So glue it to the prop and balance them as one unit?
Perfect, confirmed my effort on my model that the jello is drastically reduced by this attention to detail. I have been carving away at a few trying to get them right, Hm tape works lol
Thanks for the video and help. I just finished my 7in quad and wanted to check balance to help reduce jello in the video. Thanks again.

Ideally yes.. Happy flying
@@Painless360 Thanks Lee
Thanx now I can balance my triple bladed props on my jjrc x1.
You could do a video comparing different pitch and blade number props of the same size. I'm sure the community would appreciate it! I sure will. :)
+Four Prop Vice That is a really good idea. I will look into that.. Thanks again..
Good video. Hate to inform you though... X-Acto knives etc have been available here for at least 25 years... at least!
I could never find them in the local hobby shops.. You must have more forward thinking local suppliers ;)

Did you balance the balancer first? And if so, how?
Spin it and see if it always settles on the same place. If so remove some material from that lowest point and try again.. Happy flying!
