Thanks Tim, not sure why but that's put me in the mood to watch The Cleveland Orchestra playing Buckner No 8 at The Severance Hall. I haven't done that in a while because it tends to set my tinnitus off but I'll risk it. Cheers, Mick
I'll admit Mick, that I'm at sea. Time for me to listen to the Bruckner 8. I don't know it off the top of my head. If it gives me tinnitus, I'll let you know 😁
@FelliniMotorcycle It's an experience that's all I'll say. My tinnitus was caused by music of an entirely different kind, but an enthusiastic brass section will set it off if I get carried away with the decibels, and I usually do.
Mick, I listened to the Bruckner 8 late last night in an otherwise quiet house. One hour and thirty three minutes of unsettled but optimistic turmoil. The last movement is a small symphony in itself. No tinnitus here. 🎺🎺😁
@FelliniMotorcycle A good description. The 9th feels like a continuation, more sudden mood swings and false endings. It was never finished and you're left waiting for the missing finale, seems appropriate really.
