  • This is the extended 4k version of Perennial, a short film shot using just the Panasonic GH5 and Sigma 18-35mm lens.
    Although there was a general plan for the video, there were so many things that just happened leading up to and during the shoot.
    The idea was to capture the mood of cycling through memories and how certain moments come back at random times like an uncontrollable nostalgia.
    Special thanks to Vitoria for writing and voice acting in Portuguese.

    Love it, is it possible to Grade Like this without V-Log L ?

    • @MindSociety
      @MindSociety  3 года назад +7

      If I'm not using V-log L I'll either use natural or cine-v. Although I find that extra bit of wiggle room in V-log allows for better colouring for shadows and highlights, it's definitely possible to achieve a grade like this in those other profiles (you can also customise the contrast and colour settings etc. if you want some more flexibility). V-log gives like an extra 1-2 stops of dynamic range which isn't a huge difference but I guess it's how you use it that makes the difference.

    • @MindSociety
      @MindSociety  Год назад +1

      The GH5 can only film above 60fps in 1080p 8bit only. I believe the GH6 can do 4k 120p in 10 bit.
