I feel like low balling the price of the games is actually fair cause most games especially indie games like this go on sale pretty frequently on Steam.

The shirt looks exactly like what you said. I think it's a play on how Rocket would stand on Groot's shoulder to the switched roles where little Groot rides on Rocket's shoulder.

When I first got my box I was disappointed and thought the box was a little light. But now I realized that my expectations were just a little high. I love the lamp, I havent turned it off since i got it. I will need new batteries soon lol. The shirt is way cool alog with the print. The GeekFuel magazine is always interesting and Kudos for the article n Bill Paxton after his passing and they did one last month on Carrie Fisher. I got the Blue Ranger as a pin.
I have only seen the pink and blue ranger pin on ebay and they cost $20 each which is kinda expensive.

+Craig Smith it's weird... when you are looking at these shirts up close and fast while filming, it's a whole different world. I actually see things better in the viewfinder in the camera, but I do my best at not looking at that when I'm filming.
Don't they claim a minimum $50 value in each box? Seems far lower.
+Mike DeLucia I price low. They probably claim that based off of msrp. That's one of the reasons I don't price msrp. You can get that number from companies (who will always claim a high number). I try to do the lowest possible price that you can get items for. It just gives you a better idea of the lowest possible value of the box.

My TL;DR version: I agree with your pricing. I think they overestimate themselves. Keep up the great vids/reviews.
Maybe if there was one more item in the box the $50 value would be there. But, I'm not one for the steam game, and if the pin is a staple in every box the value wouldn't be too high. The shirt was awesome, the light pretty cool (more so for those into gaming), and the print was nice but not signed or limited. The box seemed light in my opinion.

Just wanted to say that it really bothers me that you low-ball game codes all the time. It really doesn't matter if you play them or not, the creator of the game still spent time and money making it and saying that you are going to give a game five dollars when it literally tells you that it sells for 12 is an insult to the creator honestly.
+Ana Moon totally understand. If you think the game is worth $12 you can definitely add $7 to the overall value of the box. I low ball everything (not just games) as a way to give you the ultimate lowest value of the box. That way, at the lowest value, you have a better understanding of the value you're getting.
Ana Moon but you know that GeekFuel didn't pay for those games. Streaks obviously just a way for game companies to get publicity
The creator probably sold the codes to Geekfuel for pennies on the dollar, though, if not free in exchange for publicity. Plus when sales are so common, it seems silly to give it the full price.
Besides, retail values are kind of meaningless in the first place. If someone wants to cobble together some cheap chinese jewelry parts they bought in bulk and sell it on etsy for $55 for a bracelet, they can, it doesn't mean everyone else has to pretend it's worth that.
