Good morning Danny and Wanda, I really got a kick out of this video, It was pretty funny watching you try not to take the file away from Ms. Teresa,(We can't help it ,It was the way we were raised) And remember to never use a carbon file on stainless, It will make it rust, 304 stainless has a lot of carbon in it but 316 doesn't (Sorry. hazards of being a pipe welder) And I still have a lot of my peppers from last year.. Mine have never stopped blooming... Anyway great video...

When I was a kid my Dad had a Sawmill and Fence Post operation, when we first started my two brothers and I would peel the post with tools fabricated out of a regular hoe's that the neck had been heated and straighten, and used similar too a Dutch Hoe . A Dutch Hoe could be fabricated out of a regular hoe.

Does anyone else find that stainless steel garden tools don't take an edge as well as carbon steel tools? I can get my carbon steel hoe real sharp, I recently got a stainless hoe and I just can't get it as sharp.

Danny, hmm :))) can you sharpen sewing shears?? Seems like there would be a boot strap business in sharpening tools and shears. Good sewing shears, like quality garden tools, need to be kept sharp.

They make an inexpensive thing to put your shears into and sharpen them. It's basically a scissor sharpener. Look on amazon or at a material store. I think I even found mine at Walmart in the material section.
worse then chalk board......... never head of a stainless coating......
