Nice to see that Hoss looks after their customers with the extras in the box. You explained it very well, I could assemble one myself. Thanks for the video
A very nice sturdy Hoss tool.Looking forward seeing you use it to plow your garden's.Thanks for showing how to put it together.Have a great day.♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡..........
Holy Moly! I need me one of them!!! I struggled with my gas one last year trying to move the tines around to fit in between rows etc. it was a chore!! Lol this.... this tool is beautiful and No Two stroke gas mixture needed!!! :) Thanks for this video!! :) May the Lord pour upon you an abundance of blessings .
Hey Danny, I use that brown paper packing you got there between rows in the garden. And under my bird cage, and wrapping fragile things to ship, and... and... lol. Free seeds too! Nice bonus. Bonus tool package too! Dang! Looks like it's made super strong. Happy for you guys to have such a great tool to use.
Thank you for this video, I like it. Back to the video, you look like you are happy, but on the other hand you look like a kid in a candy store. LOL. Thank you again and may GOD bless ya'll . I might have to get one of them !
Danny you were talking about sharpening your plows.... can you do a video on sharpening them? Do you sharpen the outside or the inside of them for easier cutting? Does it matter?
Just assembled my HOSS double wheel hoe today. Using the cultivator plows I weeded about 2/3 of my 3600 SF garden in about 30 minutes. (It would have been easier and faster with sweeps instead of the cultivator plows!) I'm 71 years old and this is really easy for me to use. All you OLD gardeners out there should look into the HOSS wheel hoes.
Lea Hix Im not sure if the price is the same everywhere due to taxes so i have a shareasale link in the discription you can go to to see what your cost is. The packaging material is what we use for our etsy store. We ship a lot of items that need packaging material. Thanks
Ok we`re gunna put fingerweeders on ours ...Can't believe Brad and Brian thought of that first ...I figure Hoss owes me a Highwheel for such a good idea ...
Very nice!! QUICK QUESTION. Sometime using my walk behind tiller is difficult for me to handle because of my back issues & arthritis. Is this HOSS took very heavy? I trying to find equipment that is lighter.
XaViEr3520 These are all good tools and can still be used very effectively.Like all other companies this is one thing we like about Hoss Tool is they are always looking to make a better product. Thanks
Several reasons, one to pull dirt up close to the plant ( such as potatoes) to let air into the soil so roots can grow, and to get rid of unwanted weeds.
Don’t marry a man that doesn’t carry a pocket knife! I’d never heard that little nugget before.. Hmm.. Perhaps single ladies should carry one too.. Any recommendations on a good long lasting pocket knife??
Big score, Danny! You'll be throwing dirt to the Danny corn and hilling your taters before you know it! I see a "Conversion Kit" being offered in the future for converting doubles to high arches. At least I hope so! Heck, I just need to buy a second hoe! People, if you have ANY doubt about the quality, design or durability of Hoss Tools, put your mind at ease! I've got the seeder attachment, sweeps, all sizes of oscillating hoes (my personal favorites!), cultivator teeth, plows, files, hand hoes, over the shoulder picking bucket etc, etc....Fantastic products and the best customer service you will find. No, I don't work for them! (and I do take personal recommendations seriously!)
Danny, are you aware that you can make your own substitute diesel fuel from waste oil??? It's a failrly easy process, but if not very careful it can be an oily mess, there's never a substitute for experiece. There are some RUclips videos you may find helpful. Basically by taking waste vegetable oil screened for larger debris and adding alcohol the top portion of the solution will be your diesel alternative and the bottom portion will be debris, glycerin and water. Typically you'll get about 90% or more of the gas milage you'd get from tradition diesel?
Deep South Homestead I know right now with the cost of diesel low it seems expensive, but if the cost were to double or worse, then people like myself with the knowledge and experience of making alternative gasoline and diesel will be in big demand. I experimented with making many fuels when in West Africa (no restrictions or taxes), back in 2000 and I was very encouraged with the results. In the event of major fuel crises, nearly all the laws and taxes would be stopped in the public interest. My suggestion would be for now, collect the data and as much of the equipment needed and be ready to act if you have to. I only made to being a life Scout before going to the Explorers for sailing and flying, but the Boy Scout mentality of "Being Prepared" has never left me. I wish you all good health and thank you and Wanda for the great videos!!!
That is a nice tool to have on your homestead. Y'all enjoy using it this year. Y'all have a Blessed Day!

Deep South Homestead great. Thanks a bunch!
How long is the cultivator handle? I bought without handles antique Planet Jr 25, wheel hoe and seeder, I want to make them myself.

I do not know, I am only learning. Why would you plow your field after you planted your crop?
Several reasons, one to pull dirt up close to the plant ( such as potatoes) to let air into the soil so roots can grow, and to get rid of unwanted weeds.
Irish Eyes is local to me...... in Wa. state.... No GMO crap-polla..... Great seeds !
Let it Snow Oh wow thanks for the info.
Like how you explain why bolts are away from wheels. Often sense doesn't come into putting stuff together.
How can I get this tool? I am in Uganda East Africa.
You remembered to tighten up the wheel bolts didn’t ya?
Yes, that is a must when putting together equipment. LOL
Deep South Homestead sometimes I get excited and forget to do the important things lol

How tall are you?
Luke legg 6ft 3 in tall
They need to send big thumb knobs for the handle adjustment so that you can adjust it without a tool
Van Edwards Great idea they are always looking for new ways to better serve there customers. Thanks
