Nate Surfs Again (09/17/2022)

Nate was a surfer before his accident. He loved being out on the ocean, catching waves, enjoying all the beauty of God's Creation.
About a year ago, we discovered the miracle of "adaptive surfing" and the organizations who hold adaptive surfing events for those with disabilities. We knew we needed to get Nate to one of those events and onto a board someday!
Well, today was the day. Thanks to Life Rolls On Foundation, we were able to get Nate onto a board, into the ocean catching waves!!!
Although his facial expressions might not show it well, we know that Nate thoroughly enjoyed the experience. He even smiled at Michelle when she asked him if he liked surfing again!
It's moments like these that give us that little extra boost we need to keep going!
Surf, Nate, Surf!!
