This ending is the very definition of BITTERSWEET. I might get bored a lot when I watch Wai's movies but the atmosphere of Chungking Express and Fallen Angels are really something to experience.

That "here and there" blandness feel through the movie vanished just when it came to the ending scene, with this song. Man one of the best ever endings. One of those nostalgic feelings, its like you've lived it but you actually haven't. Watched the ending so many times over and over again. I think its this song and the cinematography that makes the ending so good. I will love this scene forever.

You cant understand totally Wong Kar Wai movies, but you feel them! Inside me, i could say i understand this ending but dont know how to describe by words! I think that's why makes it classic

Takeshi's character is content with bumping into new people, even if those relationships fade away. Both are tired. These are two people from two totally different backgrounds taking a chance on each other.
