I love the new direction of combat mechanics in this game ,it's like a heavily modded skyrim which makes it that you can play any build you want with no limit
I actually liked Andromeda,it had so much potential to explain the game as a new sub series if they built on the story better maybe even adding dlcs that added new skills and more companions, helped us see what reapers would be like mixed with the new enemies etc.
Greetings from Bulgaria!!!!
Check the buttons at the bottom of the sceen in the SKILLS menu. Pick 3 active abilities and put them into the 3 slots. Once you have all 3 slots filled with abilities, go into the Favorites Tab and choose to apply the current selection to a Favorites slot. It's confusing and uncomfortable, indeed. Bioware kinda messed up with the UI in the game.
***** Thanks, did that, but how do I make the other favorites to be different? I feel stupid, but this is confusing, I am 45 hours in and getting a little bored which is unusual fir me and mass effect.
In the Favorites panel, click once on an empty Favorites slot or use the navigation arrows to get to one that isn't taken. Then apply the current selection of skills/powers to that slot.
How many points do I need to set up at least 2 different profiles? 6 minimum? An Adept profile with 1 point each in Pull, Throw and Singularity, and an Engineer profile with 1 point each in Overload, Turret and Incinerate? So far I only have 1 profile with its 3 abilities reasonably developed, and now I want to create another profile set. Thanks
Unlocking profiles is based on number of skill points spent in each one of the 3 base categories for skills (6 points at least): Combat, Biotics and Tech (more on these below). The 7 profiles available in Andromeda are: Soldier - the most basic profile, suitable for new to Mass Effect players boosts weapons usage Engineer - boosts the health of your tech (like turrets), as well as their defenses and damage output Adept - focused entirely on Biotics improvements and boosts Sentinel - combines boosts between tech and biotics, a hybrid profile Vanguard - a hybrid profile boosting biotics and combat Infiltrator - combination of combat and tech improvements and boosts Explorer - unlocks when you spend points in all 3 skill trees, this is the ultimate hybrid profile I took that from my Andromeda Basics Guide. Take a look if you want :) vulkk.com/2017/03/22/mass-effect-andromeda-beginners-tips-easy-start/2/#Profiles

Please, how do you set favorites? I can only set combinations that are the same. How do I spread them out a little, as I am now on level 27.
Thanks.

***** o.k.....thanks. Give that a try tomorrow.
Mass effect is the only game I play so a little techno frustration can occur. Thanks again!!!

Thanks a lot
the favorite option is terrible. It just adds more keystrokes and makes combat more complicated.
What armor is that
It's the Pathfinder Scout with all colors set to black
How'd you acquire it ?
It's crafted. Traders on the nexus also sell it IIRC. It's not that good for my Biotic build, but was what I could afford and it looks bad ass :D
