I have always wondered why window tint to keep the heat out is a dark colour, which attracts heat... I reckon that frosting might be a better solution when you dont particularly want to see out the window.
I've got this on a couple windows but am thinking of applying something more permanent. Any ideas on whether some kind of frosted perspex attached by rails or something would work?

a cheap way is to use a roll of greaseproof paper and tape it to the windows, or buy a can of that spray paint frosting.

those blades snap off, you’ve got more than enough before having to replace!
How will look in windows at strangers getting undressed if they do this?

Elmers glue is better! those self stick look bad as they bubble up. Expensive!
