I've been a football fan since 1990 and ever since then, I'm still waiting for a player better than Zidane. Only a selected few can be mentioned in the same contest, due to their immense talent, accomplishments and skills, but even in the context of that legendary elite-of-the-elite, Zizou somehow still manages to stick out. His ball control was unreal; his power and strength were often underrated, but clearly visible when best defenders bounced off him like they were made of straw; his vision, passing ability and sense for timing and placement were superhuman; he was comfortable scoring in any way imaginable - left foot, right foot, headers, volleys, from impossible positions, you name it, he gets the job done; his leadership was key for success of each and every team he played for - his best performances always came in most important, biggest matches. But above all, he was the epitome of elegance - the only other player that played so effortlessly was the great Dutch maestro Dennis Bergkamp. For me, Zidane is easily top 5 players of all time and by far the best midfielder that ever played the game.
I can't stress that this is one of my favourite edits of all time, I have to watch it at least once a year since i saw it 3 days after it was released, in total it has been around with me for more than half my life and just shows that after Messi and Maradona, Zidane is a GOD of the game❤❤
The difference between them and him though is his control, it is something that will never be seen again, Messi can dribble, CR7 can strike, but Zidane could play seconds ahead of any opponent
