Hello, my hp omen laptop is showing 'Boot Device Not Found. Please install an operating system on your hard drive'.
I checked my hard drive but it is working properly and then I tried to do change from BIOS but when I try to enter the BIOS it is asking for administrator password.
Now I don't know what to do in such case. As per other documents I tried to enter password from BIOS password website using the code generated after 3 incorrect tries but still no luck.
The code generated after 3 tries is 10 digit.
Please help as I don't want to lose data.
Boot device is missing...your windows file is missing..so you have to format your laptop

@@stormchrusher you just format the c drive. or you can copy your data from this HDD to other computer by connector.

@@xylons1 once you get the error code note that error then open the website provide that error code and get the password.once you get the password you restart your computer then open bios administrator windows then type that password to unlock

@@OnTeque If no error code shown, in that case BIOS chip reprogramming is the only option, isn't it? How much risky is that process, I means reconfiguring the chip.

@@OnTeque Actually my laptop has 19 month warranty remaining. I sent it to HP's service center but thy will not cover any warranty and provide any service for it replied after 10 days. I have to repair it from out side. Appreciate for your support.
