Nice job - what a great little bike they were - 85 MPH, 21 HP and only 1700 of them made . . . That front mudguard looks like its from a Rickman Enfield Interceptor - they were finished in bright orange
Tough call. Having resprayed the tank on my sons MT50 it looked so damn good I had to strip the bike back to metal and respray the whole damn thing. Otherwise it just looked wrong. One nice shiny perfect part and the rest looking worn as any 50cc moped will do having been thrashed all it's life.
Leave it as it is to your liking and usable.

That was my dream bike back in about 1968, especially the ones with the full fairing. Never could afford one, 😢
