Had to smile Ben .. "I'm going to read the manual, which is usually the last resort for me",
    - a man with my own heart lol. You and me both .. If all else fails, read the instructions.
subnote: My binging days are nearly over, I've nearly caught up, just a couple more to go, and then of course today's upload, and then I'm there. It's been a blast.
    Cool set-up you've got with your 1ton. Best of both worlds. Water/Land. 🇳🇿 😎

Im sure you figured it out but the cable extension for your lighter to yeti is too small a gauge wire for the added “distance” and that results in voltage drop below the voltage your yeti needs to power. Specs will say what amperage the yeti draws. Get some 8 gauge duplex wire and make your own 12 volt extension ? Great rig !

Yep you nailed it. In real time we are back in BC living in the camper and JUST received the Yeti vehicle integration kit (charge directly from altenator). Hopefully we can get a decently quick charge from the set up because we are now powering a fridge, two laptops and a Starlink off of a pretty small battery pack and one solar panel :)

I’m with Bruce, a little surf a little turf. We tried several seasons in MX on our sailboat. Absolutely hurricane season is a thing but I also couldn’t stand the heat in MX much past April, so we’d come back to the PNW for the summer. We couch surfed with friend and family at first, before we bought our Trawler. Eventually the Trawler won the majority of our time.
A couple months ago we passed our sailboat, on to a young couple in Nanaimo (a.k.a our adopted BC sailing kids). But that's another story.
Right now, we’re transitioning to a life of Trawler cruising (PNW/BC) summer and small 25 ft RV trailer in the winter. We have found that having a cyclical adventuring life is an amazing way to enjoy our planet.
Trust me you’ll miss that 3rd family member more than you think! We rehomed our 2 Goldens, to our kids before we set sail south, and unfortunately, we were gone to long and they passed. We were able to ever get them back. :(

Allie, great change up episode. I really love all your videos, but because I don't sail or surf, this one was more what I used to do when I was younger. I think Bruce will be more at home on land while you are doing your long crossings. Good choice. Where in Ontario are you from? I always thought you were from B.C. What issues are you having with your hard drive? I know too many questions. 😂😅 Until next time, be happy, be safe, enjoy your dream, and thanks for sharing it with us all.😊😊😊

Thanks Craig! It is a propane heater, it's acruallly the exact same one we have on the boat! Would prefer diesel heat (to dry things out) but it is super reliable and can't complain really

Your rig is looking good. You're looking ready for the summer Hurricane season. Remember don't ever ride with your feet on the dashboard. It's a really ugly picture if your air bags go off. Google it if you don't believe me.

So you broke down and got a land cruising boat. Far better investment than a house or apartment when it's only going to get occasional use. Hoping to make it to Vancouver, just got to get my truck working right.

You Guys are good Fur baby Parents. Bruce would not want to do the pacific trip. 1. Its for eva. 2: lots of places won't let a dog on land with out Quarenteen and stuff. So Nanny and Grandads place for a Holiday is the Best idea. Nice land Yacht, too. Kiaora.

      Yes.
Even Parlay is realizing they will have to drop off the dogs, before they sail to New Zealand. Would be nice if countries were more accommodating, in some ways ... those dogs on Parlay are well adjusted to sail life.

Just realized you are not what i call cruising or boaters.
The boat is a thing but the boat is not the thing.
Adventures seems to be your thing.
That is fine but it is not sailing.
    Have fun.
    Cheers.

Not bagging n your purchase, the camper stellar but save your money for a truck- Chevy duramax or such. Recent ford , 6.0 n 6.4 diesel are money pits. Good truck but sh## motor. Hopefully all the upgrades have been done n you can cross your fingers tight.
