  • In this tutorial, I will create one of my signature day-to-night images, based on a photograph taken over the past weekend, where I was fortunate to have been able to have a dawn walk around Canterbury, England, where new architecture is mixed with the old architecture. This is a beautiful part of the city, called Westgate Garden, near to the Westgate of the old city walls constructed in the late 1300's.

    I have come across your sessions recently and love the artwork that you are creating from quite ordinary images. Also love the really old buildings that you find to work with. Something we lack down under😀

    Your attention to small details is incredible. It makes a difference in the realism of your photo. A very dramatic photograph and piece of photographic art. Simply beautiful. The video was not only educational, but very entertaining. They're so enjoyable to watch.

    Yet another amazing day to night. - Even if Canterbury isn’t Canterville the literally similarity reminded me immediately on Oscar Wilde’s “The Canterville Ghost”, the WW2 adapted movie version of 1944 is so lovely to watch. Besides, does a Canterville in UK exist? At least in Wikipedia I couldn’t find one.

    • @jamiermathlin
      @jamiermathlin  9 месяцев назад +1

      No there is no Canterviile in the UK, just Canterbury :-) I very much appreciate you taking the time to leave a comment..

      @@jamiermathlin Thanks for reply. Wow, that's pretty amazing, Wilde could imagine and create such a pleasing name.
