Two of my favorites to watch!! Awesome just listening to 2 best buddies shooting the shit and having a casual conversation, it naturally flows!! Thanks fellas
That's the thumb nail design. Hands down. Appreciate you and Clint, everything you do and everything you have done. Waiting on your new book to arrive and finishing Jim Mattis book before I start Clint's book. I love when you guys get together and talk. Saving this one for the morning during my Saturday routine. Thank you both.
Bought this book immediately after the podcast. It's terrific in it's straightforward, simple, easy to use design. I'm using it to teach my son a new skill every week while he's on summer break and I am home for a temporary night shift.
I am very thankful that America has these guys on our side... Thank you. The Dog Handling is, to me, probably the most amazing. Mainly because they don't use the same communication skills as we do and to get that connection is just "Awesome"!
i want to know how Clint sat still long enough to do surveillance!? I will be ordering this book so I can teach my son all the things his generation is not being taught. Thank you gents!
The Delta operator he was referring to in Black Hawk Down is Hoot or at least that’s his name in the movie. He was always my favorite Delta dude in the movie. When asked by Sgt. Eversmann what he thought about the situation in Mogadishu he said “You know what I think? It don’t really matter what I think, cuz once that first bullet goes past your head politics and all that shit just goes right out the window.”
Lol, mike: why?......Clint: toilet paper.! Hahahshaha.i grew up in a family that was raised at the end of the depression on a farm. I can make my own cheese, butter, garden, raising animals for food, make a fire, hunt, fish, can, preserve, etc.. it's great that you are sharing those skills with city folk. Everyone should have the skills to survive. My grandmother build her own milk cooling shed out of Adobe bricks in new Mexico. And cooked on a wood stove. I'm leaving Seattle to move to idaho and build a geothermal greenhouse. Got the book 👍
My farm upbringing, reinforced with military service experience, and I was ready when the pandemic came. People said oh you're a hoarder. I found this statement coming from people that were not prepared, and were obviously jealous of those of us who were all good to go.... always be prepared.
Awesome interview. Definitely getting the book. And I'll definitely be picking up some more turkey bites from Team dog, my dog Remington Love's them. Thanks Mike.
@15:40 I love the fact you called it a water heater Mike, point being most people call it a hot water heater, well there's no reason to heat hot water right.
I was just thinking yesterday "Mike should do another podcast with Clint Emerson" because I just watched the first podcast episode (I watch it in a random order) and sure enough... Mindreader Mike releases the episode!
Great podcast Emp situation doesn’t stack bodies, it creates slaves to whom pops up with a solution. It will throw people against each other at warp speed
This is a terrifying eventuality that folks don't think of. I've done research on the electric grid and how vulnerable our system truly is (for my job). Love the message of this podcast. It's funny how the "prepper" mindset became the norm during COVID and the "preppers" were the most comfortable.
Mykel Hawk’s A Green Beret’s Guide To Survival is pretty similar in how you become self sufficient and harvest and grow and build your space, security, and sense of peace.
I think it’s pretty interesting how if you look back at really old photographs you never see fat people of any age. I think that kinda says it all. Definitely looking forward to getting a copy of Clint’s book.
Hopefully in the book, you tell people to get a basic set of tools and learn how to use them safely. Both manual and power tools can come in real handy.
I was turned on to Clint when I watched him with Ant Middleton on SAS:Who Dares Wins. I appreciated his demeanor and attntion to detail. Great interview and sold operator.
holy fuck nuts . Clint had one awesome job.. pretty bad it took 2.5 hours to drive home from NW DC to WV and got to listen to full podcast lol. which is 58 miles ..

Love it brother as always. I have a question unrelated to this one. What if you got a retired handler And his dog on and talk about obviously all the bite stories and shit but also the dog's transition into civilian life. You know did the Navy let them retire together. How are they doing. It would be an honor to hear. I've never been in the military but from hearing all the stories and even you and your guests say those dogs are every bit the service personnel that humans are. We hear a lot about transition from a human standpoint and rightfully so but I haven't heard much about the transitions of the K9 warriors. Don't even know how that works but it might make a cool episode. Much love, respect, and Gratitude!!
Another awesome interview. Always thought Clint’s demeanor was on point. Cool, calm and humble. Nice stuff Mike!
