- We recently spent a 3 day weekend at the Massanutten Ski Resort in Virginia. In this video, we share with you all the fun activities you can find at this resort in the winter. Plus we will do a room tour of our accomodations, share our dinner with you - and we will let you know if a trip to Massnutten is worth the cost.

Nice room. A deer! This looks like so much fun! My kids have never seen snow yet! Looks like there is a lot of fun to be had there outdoors and indoors.

We enjoyed the tour of this beautiful ski resort, Alice and Jack. While we don't ski anymore, (only did a little more than you Alice. As I aged I found I didn't fall quite as smoothly as when I was young) The snow tubing looks fun as well as the water park too. What? No onesies? 🤣🤣Looks like they had some Bear Cheeks ones in the gift shop. Plenty of booze too, to get you in the mood to wear it! Loved the tour and it doesn't sound all that expensive for what you get. We've found that since we don't ski anymore that some of these resorts have some nice pricing in the off season. We've stayed in quite a few and always have an enjoyable time. Thanks for bringing us along with you!

Awesome video and very cool place. I love the setting. The rooms were really nice and it's crazy just how much there is to do. The indoor water park looked really nice, on par with Great Wolf Lodge, which is great. The $55 per person seemed a little high, but why not while you are there? I was hoping this would cut down on the crowd and lines a bit, but at least it cleared out early enough for you to enjoy it a bit. I can't stand a crowded water park. I love how they had that, snow tubing, ice skating, skiing, the game room, restaurants, the lounge, and everything else. They even had curling! You came out of there at a pretty nice price point. The homemade food looked pretty good as well.

A great resort and your rooms are well appointed. I would have loved the snow tubing. That looked like lots of fun. Lots of other amazing activities too. I have skied once before, but not my thing and it is very expensive to Ski in Australia. Yep, you do want to be warm in that climate.
OOO an indoor water park. WOW! love the Lazy River. The Water Park looked like awesome fun. Games room, sweet shop, Swimming pool and a Gym. and merchandise to top it all up. Your meal sounded delicious Alice and so did Jack's. Not nice when your steak is overcooked. The Bars and a Onesies night, no thank you. 🤣 Great general store. We love visiting Massanutten. Jack and our friends loved snow tubing. I am sure you would have a good time with it too. I am not really into thrill rides like that but I can see how more adventurous people would love it. I am more of a relax by the fireplace at the ski lodge kind of girl. Yeah, I too tried skiing once. I was not very successful. It was wonderful to see all the snow since we get very little of it where we live closer to the coast. The water park and activity center were very fun places to hang out. And that dinner was very tasty. Thanks for watching - and for taking the time to comment!
I'd be with Alice, staying warm by the fire for sure! I love seeing the snow, but I just don't love getting involved in a Snow activity, lol.

Hotel looks super nice and cozy! I love when the snow is white and clean like that, you got some deer neighbors 🙂 Snowtubing is always fun! I'm not a skier myself. Glad there's other activities to do at this resort! I would be at the waterpark all day hehe.. glad there's plenty of food options too!

Wow, nice full kitchen! Gotta be careful with two doors on the bathroom 😂! Those tubes look so fun! We have some places that do this in Utah! Awesome water park! This place definitely has some great options for activities!

Yeah, this resort is really fun. I want to visit in the summer to see all their summer activities. Or in the fall to see the fall colors in the mountains. Jack and our friends really loved snow tubing. I tried it a few years ago and it was too fast for me. But I am not a thrill ride kind of gal. Relaxing in the lazy river and the hot tub at the indoor waterpark was much more fun to me. I definitely don't own a onesie and never plan to... it was fun to watch other people dancing around in onesies though. Thanks so much for watching - and for taking the time to comment!

Yeah, the mountains can get a good amount of snow in the winter. And if they don't they have enough snow, they have snow making machines to make up the difference. The eastern half of the state gets very little snow though. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Oh man this looks like a cold adventure. You guys are a pro at hotel and room tours. I do a bunch but I second guess myself and only release a few. You do such a an amazing job.
$200 is a great cost. I would have loved the snow tubing. Looks so fun. I like skiing but I don’t know how to stop or turn 😂. My kids would be all about the water park. Thanks for the tour.

Wow, I'm stunned to see so much snow! We have none in Wisconsin. When was this and what is the elevation there?
This was filmed the weekend of January 20 and 21, 2024. The elevation at Massanutten Ski Resort (on Massanutten Mountain) reaches 2.922 feet. They do get a good deal of snow on the mountain in winter. But they also have snow making machines that pump out "snow" when the weather doesn't cooperate. I am kind of stunned to hear yall didn't have any snow in Wisconsin in January! Is any forecasted for February?

Same. The one time I went skiing, I bent over to adjust one of my skis and ended up somehow inadvertently skiing down the hill backwards. I kind of had to just throw myself down into a snow bank to stop. Never again. LOL. But this was a fun getaway. I enjoyed seeing the snow and sitting by the fireplace and then getting in the lazy river. Thanks so much for watching and commenting!
