Worst part about this boss is honestly the flamethrower. Its not the damage, it's the hyper aggressive tracking and the insane range. There's no realistic way to get away from it unless you're already far enough away from him
@Mandingy24 if you use the grappling hook, you can lead that, but you have to pay attention to his aggro switching

Honestly? F*ck this boss, way too resistant, way too much shield, way too damaging, yes he’s level 66 but for the love of god dude, and screw the time limit too for that matter.

I'm generally not too bad with boss mechanics as soulsborne veteran, but my aim sucks.
I don't lose because i die or because I'm incapable of dealing with mechanics, i simply run out of time because for the love i god i'm just not good enough at aiming and don't get the weakpoints down fast enough...

Couldn't beat him.
Was either running out of ammo if I didn't care enough for the adds, or running out of time if i cared for the adds...
And multiplayer was even more of a nightmare because people just kept on dieing and i spent most of the time reviving or distracting the boss...
Like i said:
I could dodge most of the things, wouldn't instantly die if i got hit some times and generally knew what to do.
But i just couldn't make it happen whatsoever.
Eventually found someone who could carry me through, so i could at least make it to the endgame where you could actually farm for things if you hit a wall...
They either have to reduce the health , remove his weapon damage resistance or takeaway the damn time limit .
i think time limits should be removed for the normal versions because the dps check is a joke once you clear the story after them so its just a wall to prevent you from finishing the story if you have a gun based hero

@@ajthecipher1588 objectively speaking, you're right. Co-op bosses have too much health, which is why it's way easier to beat them solo. I think they probably balanced them thinking people would have fully upgraded weapons, even though they don't really give you the means for it -_-

This boss design is what I hate and I was hoping this game won't come to this. I hate boss design that the solution is just "face tank it". Why did you make all the fancy dodge and grappling hook mechanics but also throw them all out of the window? Why???
That fireball should be dodgeable, that's the problem of this boss.
Should be destructible, or make it so a floating ball doesn’t one shot the walls

He had a sliver of health on my solo run, 35 seconds on the clock and then he goes immune. I raged quit off the game for the day🫠
I cant say how many times my group has been within a few shots of beating him and the fucking time limit hits 0, the time limit is fkn annoying (mainly on this boss specifically) plus the fact we cant progress in the story without beating him is another huge negative😒 i might just suck at the gane to, who knows lmao
I tought that the problem its the damage obviously, so need more fire up, but since at this point the max level of the weapons is 64 you must to be lucky to find a colossus dmg bonus on the weapons or make it.
Beside that i was lucky that i found 2 people that probably finished the game and they shotted the boss lol
@@skyuru I ended up finding someone who had already beat the play thru and had level 100 gear all around(he swept him easy) now that im there to its insanely easy, played it to show my friend how difficul he was and i beat him like it was nothing😒😂

the timer and server disconnections are my biggest enemies in this boss battle. my squad was doing so well but the timer ran out, and the next time we tried again doing even better but i got disconnected. it sucks because we had 0 deaths
@@yngcharismaTrue, but it's a matter of luck that you match up with players with higher weapon levels. I'm already on my sixth time trying to beat him and I can't.
Me and my friend have tried to kill the boss for 20+ times now and the only problem we have is the fire ball shooting fire balls. Remove that or reduce the damage of those balls and it's all good.
The firewall is easily to avoid. Just take cover behind a wall and wait

Too many Bunnies in the queue
It's bcs Pyro has 90% dmg res to all fire arms so bunnies beam melts if you have a good build. Unfortunately most of those bunnies aren't playing her cuz of that😂

Literally just had a game where everyone else was Bunny except me on Ajax.
na, those ads need to be limited to either 3 per spawn, or none at all.
Ads are mainly there for resource drops and that's a MUST, they just need to make them more vulnerable to be melted quickly
Thanks for showing the guide/tips playing in a squad. I really don’t like other videos that just say do it SOLO. I and many others don’t like playing games like this solo even if it’s more difficult with the health scaling.
This boss is driving me nuts specially if you're doing bunny exclusive challenges because soon it's going to tell you to beat that with bunny 😅
I beat it with a yujin, gley, viessa, and Freyna. It was tough took us about 4 trys. All running 65 weapons and having only characters mods leveled up and no weapon mods leveled up I would say having a Ajax instead of viessa would be better but wasn't a mandatory thing. Just keep trying to those who haven't done it.
This. I’m actually astounded people rage uninstalled after getting stuck. If you are that unhappy about it then I feel for you, but it’s doable for sure. Beat him with randoms after 3 tries. I had a lvl 51 rifle and was playing Viessa. We had two Bunnies and Gley. We clapped him with two minutes left to spare. Just keep your aim on his weak spots.
@xHyacinthLIVE I absolutely agree best strat we did was aimed for all his weak spots constantly. When the kingfishers would spawn 1 guy took care of those then we all tagged teamed the drones that spawned above him. When he went immune 2 ppl grapped on top of the rocks and aimed for the reactor on his back with snipers and one you destroy that it's pretty much game over for him. You also 100% have to be coordinated with you team even if they are Randoms. You have to also go in there with the mind set you will lose and have to give it literally you all to beat him.
@@PSNGrimReapers yes, for sure. A huge part of it was 1.) everyone happened to have good aim and 2.) everyone already knew exactly what to do despite no communication. I suppose most random lobbies people won’t be so lucky.

is it worth using freynas ultimate mod that gives her armor ability to her teammates in a radius around her if im using her only for bosses with randos? not sure if i should focus resources on upgrading it so it takes less space or if i should ditch it altogether for more dps and survivability modules

You can't really, but make sure when you see it being charged up, to hid behind a wall. Once it hits the wall it disappears

hide behind a wall, let it come to you and hit the wall/ground. if you run then it will follow you and shoot you until you're down. such an ass ability

I beat mine today by joining a team that was full Freyna (including myself),the tamer lmg works wonders and the constant stacking of Toxic did major work on his health, her third helps with hummingbirds if you are not focusing on them.
I just reached this part of the game with my ultimate bunny. Only to find out shock and bunny is not the play. I wanted to progress and get the map cleared on bunny first so how do I continue to progress now? I did the last boss solo first try because my teammates weren’t cutting it.
This is basically exact same story as mine exept no ult bunny for me 😢

@@Kanye1991 not a cap you prestige using forma to reset character back to lvl 1 and you can set a mod slot to cost half of what it cost before , same with guns. how many times you tried ? i could hope on to help with pyro
The problem with recommending avoiding bunny is you have a bunny specific mission for her. So it’s either go in as bunny, ironically is my tankiest Dez yet, or I go in with some other Dez and just get my ass handed to me over and over anyways like I have for the last 7 hours. Yes, I’m still on this asshole 7 hours of virtually nonstop attempts….just to go back and do him AGAIN just for her mission.
Just develop someone else. Beat him. Then come back with better gear as Bunny and get the mission done. That is what I am going to do.
Spec'd Freya into ability damage once I learned about the 90% gun damage immunity. That really needs to be on the data sheet somewhere. Got him after a few times after that. Did need a party to pull agro occasionally, but I got his HP down to 1/3rd a couple times solo.
I'm trying to max out my poison chick just for this boss, I mained Lepic then Bunny unfortunately. Would adding frost ATK to my guns help make up the difference in his bullet resistance or no?
I have bunny with 3k fire res and gold/purp chill atk on 2 of my lvl 65 guns ... didn't make much difference

Tried it with viessa, used thunder cage and have the most health, def and element resist and am still dying so quick because I need to get too close with viessa’s abilities and even if I’m running around between cover that tracking ball just does so much damage

Beat him today. I had to switch to vessa. It was my vessa another vessa, ajax and freya. It went down surprisingly fast
TY for demonstrating just how close you can get to it to hit it with regular bullets. That made a pretty big difference. Funny enough, I used Viessa with 3 Bunny teammates and thought we were going to lose, but this team knew what they were doing and we got it done with about 50 seconds to spare.
ajax's abilities block *some dmg, not all unfortunately haha

You should be able to filter lobbies to only people meeting certain survivability criteria...
How many fire resistance? 2,100 is not enough

By the time you are fighting Pyromaniac you should easily get to the 2100 with mods or even to 4000+ if you have fire res on your submodules too.
Combined with a maxed out HP and Def Mod that should be enough to not get one shotted.
You still need to dodge things though.

How many times did you have to matchmake, before you found a team that wasn't down 90%of the time? I don't have enough dps right now to beat this boss solo, and every time I try matchmaking my teammates cannot stay up. Even when I'm throwing shields everywhere with Ajax
I just solo the boss as it's much easier. Just put that free energy activator on my tamer, had my ajax and just kill it. Hard mode executioner, dead bride, pyro, devourer and swamp walker are easily done solo if you have good gears. But it would take time, like I did so I was stuck for like 2 days before I can solo the bosses I have mentioned.
@@thegrindshack The game locks you out of improving your weapons/dps until you beat him! The next zones are inaccessible!
I was stuck on this boss for several hours in public games, then I decided to just try solo it with Viessa, got it on the first try(with 3 seconds left).
Make sure to use fire resistance and HP/def modules, and ice damage on your weapon.
Use the deaths you have to regen your blizzard, since that is your main damage dealer, weapons doesn't deal a lot of damage to this boss.
I feel this is the real boss to test what people know about resistance and weakness
they are testing your patients
I spent 1h tuning my weapon to 110K DPS, it doesnt matter in pub squad and I will not play coop looter shooter game solo, its a bad design, you cant finish even story with these dps checks, game over for me...
it has 90% damage reduction to guns, that's probably why, use a skill based descendant that can be at a range
Dude don't just mod for damage mod for it's weakness and it's 90% resistant to gun damage so use Viessa she melts him beat him on my first playthrough using her.
Edit: Mod Viessa mainly mod for skill damage
Understandable. They seriously need to turn the difficulty of co-op bosses down. It's literally easier to solo them than to find a squad that's half competent.

The boss itself isn’t too hard. It’s just that I’m getting a full stack of bunnies on my team, who keep dying every second. I had revived my whole team at least 10 times in one game, because the bunnies were selling
And then they won’t even kill the ads 😑. I spent half the time getting everyone health and ammo when I had 2 bunnies on the team.

Bunny is one of if not the best character to clear ads, without even focusing on it, and ... they just don't when they join the fight...
I play Enzo. He has weapon resistance and i have almost no AoE whatsoever so i focus on Weakpoints with Nazeistras devotion to buff team damage... but i can't if i also have to kill ads...

Freyna its not hard to unlock, she is basically the 2nd characters that are easy to unlock after Bunny, i also unlocked Valby :3
Ajax is great though, he can block many of the annoying projectiles/fireballs in that fight.
This thing NEEDS a rework. That damage resistance is absurd.
Just soloed him with Gley. Finally just stacked what they recommended for fire resist, used tamper and the organ launcher, with a cold bullet mod. And essentially facetanked him. The benefit of solo, is you know you have 3 lives. So if you can knock down his shield in one life, it gives you two more to finish him
I keep getting the worst combination, bunnies on console. It has given me two to three bunnies almost every single match. I have no idea why people would play Bunny in a void intercept anyway. I've had this boss very close but half the battle is resurrecting bunnies

can someone tell why does the pyro not in stun position when i take off his shoulder pad? and sometimes the yellow shoulder pad turn into white/grey couple of second than return to yellow what the meaning of that?
Maybe yellow its the biggest dmg critical hit thing °°

Readying as bunny doesn’t matter because the damage should be coming from your weapons any ways even if you ready as a support unless your Amex and you keep the bubble up as much as possible your gonna die anyways 😂 this boss needs a nerf and in fact I don’t think you should have to kill these bosses for the story anyways it should just be for item drops

I beated pyro using bunny and playing in a team. A nice fire resistance + dps + chill damage + super fast + competent team mates does the trick. Bunny is not the problem, only if you don't know how to use the module builds and her speed
I'm farm and build Gley and If I do not kill him with raw damage I'm unistalling.

I sincerely hope they tone the co-op bosses difficulty the fuck down, because I've literally had to solo every single boss fight. It's literally easier to get their patterns down and solo them, than it is to find a single competent squad in this game... Fucking ridiculous.
Agree. The brick walls should be kept on hard mode. Just going through the story missions and running into shit like this blows.
What gun did you use for solo bunny?
@@Skippyflapjacks thunder cage. The free legendary SMG. I've pretty much used it against every boss so far. I also use the "tamer" machine gun when bosses are staggered. For the next boss I'd recommend you to get "the hero" scout rifle to break it's weak points, and maybe a sniper (just for the invincibility phase where you gotta take out it's weak spots).
P.d. Here's a tip that I noticed a bit too late. You can replenish your ammo with the little drone with a cross sign that's floating in front of you whenever you start an interception. In fact if you use stuff like snipers or shotguns, you should replenish your ammo as soon as you start the mission, because for some weird reason sometimes you start without a full magazine. specially if you're retrying the mission immediately after failing.

@@elite2x981 are you also using bunny? Make sure you modded for it's elemental weakness and are running the fire resistance mod, or have gear with fire resistance (although I didn't use this).
Was able to solo with Ajax after struggling with public for an hour. Tamer, scout, and forest gaze. Had 30 sec to spare so a bit too close.
The last mission/mini boss you do right before this one.. the big fat toxic guy.. has. 3 percent chance to drop a heat immunity mod. FYI

Ajax main here. I have a lot of hours on him already, and I can say he is extremely useful against every single boss in the game, and makes the other classic missions very easy and relaxing. Obviously it works better if played with some damage dealers, but he's nice even if playing solo. Not a bad investment at all

The problem is we're level capped at 40 and yes you can level your weapons to a hundred BUT the pieces needed to do that are locked behind high level content Luke 60+ my gley build is throwing pebbles at this guy...

Not only that but people have no idea how to dodge the fire ball the fact that u have to kill the flying adds above his head ASAP because if not he enrages and takes no damage for like 1 minute.....unless u shot his condenser at the back
Also people ignore the adds.... U can't do that they drop ammo mana and health potions

The game grinds to a frustrating halt with this boss.
So i have to farm for another character , lvl up that character just to beat a boss. i have 3k fire res lvl 65 guns and most of the upgraded mods similar to yours so putting out decent damage and 2 of them have purp/gold chill atk on them too ... I want to prestige the character i want to play. I don't care about the skins, in any game if a character has lighting/thunder im there 🤣
I feel this. leveled my character to the max, put all the mods on there, have more than 3000 fire res and a reasonable amount of defense/hp/shield and even a shield panic button on enzo.
But while i keep myself alive quite well during the fight, i feel like 30% of the time im just reviving people who have no clue about the mechanics...
I mean, if you die to a fireball and there are no walls nearby, people could have probably placed themselves better, but i get it, it happens.
But if they die to one of his normal attacks... im just like "how?!"
The hardest part of this boss is getting a group that shoots the weak points.

Gley is the best for bosses (for me she is best for everything).
What i am doing is beating him with Ajax, then going ahead in story to get stronger weapons, then coming back to help bunny players with quest line.
Bunny players, you are not the problem.
I believe the void intercept battles are going to kill this game since its tied directly to the story and you can not progress until you defeat the void boss. I believe players will leave this game because of that. Void intercept battles need a rework !

But challenge should to some degree be adjustable if it is mandatory for the main storyline.
If it was just to farm specific materials or side quests or just for the challenge in itself/endgame content: Sure go for it.
But you can not progress this game, if you don't fight the bosses, which is quite frustrating.
I feel like to beat it i have to advance my characters and weapons, but i can't if i don't get to all regions and also don't feel like farming now, when hard mode is so close with better drop rates...
Even though I'm currently stuck on this boss. My bunny usually is the one reviving the team. 😅
I would say Ajax is bad, since he lack skill dmg. There is never a point where I had issues ressing players during this fight. Pyromaniac has low health pool, but take something like 10x reduced gun dmg, this is important knowledge. So using as much skill based damage is important. I found using Freyna made the boss easy and she is free to play friendly, as she can deal good damage to Pyromaniac with Q V and Z ability. Bunny is rough on that boss, as playing too close to Pyromaniac is bad due to flamethrower and cone stomp, while Freyna can easily keep her distance. I have now carried multiple groups through Pyromaniac with Freyna. Remember, skill based dmg = win. Good luck.
remember not dying and keeping your team alive = win. so Ajax for the win 🫶

My only problem with this game is the boss designs, particularly this Boss and not being able to have frame rates, like most skills should be dodge able this game has no frames and that what make it bad

Il y a deux chose ultra casse-couilles de ce combat, la limite de temps et cette merde d'attaque du boss avec cette énorme boule orange qui te stalke comme pas possible et en plus elle tir des petites boules TÉLÉGUIDÉES.
C'est déjà assez compliqué de joué avec des randoms qui jouent QUE Bunny....

It's bcs Pyro has 90% dmg res to all fire arms so bunnies beam melts if you have a good build. Unfortunately most of those bunnies aren't playing her cuz of that😂
True but I started the game with bunny and want to progress all the way thru before starting another character.
As if we can just pick any character at any time, what is the point of this comment
@@OmarTheGoatI think it’s just a suggestion to get at least one other character leveled to 40 other than Bunny 😅 some of the characters are tough to grind for but others can be done in a reasonable amount of time

Just beat him and used bunny honestly if you just spam her attacks at close range and just know how to doge his attacks you can beat him took 10 tries tho
If u can melt him fast enough solo. The immune phases wont mater much
This Boss is terrible. 30 times trying to defeat him an we always failed. Hate to play it with randoms
I just got matched w 3 lvl 1 bunnies as a lvl 40 ajax now on try 100 and about to rage uninstall
The best method to this fight is to do the fight over and over again until you get matchmade with a Gley that’s running infinite launcher ammo

Max def module over 6000 fire resistance still kicks my ass. Kinda stupid ngl...
Double the resist needed for his fire damage but someeeeeehow still die to fire damage makes perfect sense
to be fair, high resistance shouldn't equate immunity, but yeah, his damage, especially the fireball, is absurd.

Brah the way I beat him is velby with giga HP stats and the 9% heal mod. That's pretty much immortality imo, healing 40% of 10k HP on HP pickups just to stay alive.
I had to make an immortal build to beat him. Guy has too much DR and not enough weakness imo. People say it's a DPS check but it's actually a survivability check, once you can survive his instant hitting lock ons (fire ball shots for example) dodging all of his stuff becomes the easiest thing ever. Dreading the hard mode fight not gonna lie...

you forgot the part where your character doesn’t even make a difference when your team is full of random trashbags every match.
so far I'm at 63 attempts. tanky ajax, ability spam freyna, nuke viessa... all of them haven't gotten passed half health. it's his outgoing damage. it's ridiculous. even with like 6k resistance to heat
got something above 3000 fire resistance... and i think with that it is doable.
The only problem really is the big fireball that you have to lure into walls... and sometimes there just isn't a wall nearby.
4 hrs, time kepps running out... guess ill try leveling up the mods and stuff now lol

Gley isn’t much in open world but she’s a monster vs bosses.

This is a very badly designed wana-be soulslike boss. They devs were too lazy to make the programming better in this fight and had hoped it came off as just a hard boss. Things like this make me want to quit already...
Enfrentei ele de Glay solo, e matei o chefe em 5 minutos kkkkkkkk, o segredo é só colocar bastante critico, municao de gelo e resistência a fogo
Gotta be honest, the contentand advise is not bad but I don't like the ai voice. That ks for the tips though. And looks like the comments section has some other useful tips
people need to understand that you dont do this boss asap. farm mods and kuiper and lv up your mods and get good ones. beating your head against a wall, hoping for a hard carry is not how to get by this early in the game. make preparations to be near your best. stop walking in as is with a bunch of whatever equipped.

My weapons are level 62-65, my descendant level 40 (added two of those symbols), my main weapon (added one of those symbols), Chill damage added to weapons, mods leveled up, fire resist between 3-4k...

Ajax pain when the other 3 player use Bunny is real. Seriously she's AOE specialist not tanky or single damage type (her Z only work on small boss). Stop using Bunny on Colossi fight !
i have tried the Pyromancer 20x? Times with all different Classes, no Chance :( and then 3x Bunny and Freyda (Me) = Win ;)
