I went with Agony instead of Shield Conversion. A little less mp yes but you don't lose 75% of your shield and you gain 38% defense. Don't know I agree with 2 skill duration mods, though. It only applies if your party members are outside of your buffs. With the max skill range, getting allies within the buff range is quite easy. 1 should be quite enough. Same with skill range. You only need 1 range mod to be at max range with a stacked up transcendent mod. At that point you could invest in some damage reduction mods or basic damage mods. Fun fact Maximize Skill's cooldown penalty only applies to the cooldown if you fail to activate the skill. Adds more damage than either Non-Attribute mod. Same thing for Maximize Power. I wouldn't go for crit though like this guy did though.
@@jasonhartman6092 the thing is if people love doing 1 thing - it is running around and if you play luna in random matches you might be sure that ppl "know when to activate their skills" but they will do hell before standing all around you - especially in boss fights where being stacked together can be quite annoying....i just love having that big range without having to worry that it depletes over time - a personal preference..but the mod types can easily be replaced with a more defensive option if one prefers that - hence why i ranked max range mods as "lowest priority" as for "more dmg on support luna" nah not worth it - really not - your dmg doesn matter...your buffs matter and that you cling on boss parts matters But yeah the core of the build are the first 3 Mods mentioned - they are a must if you want to help your team deal most dps possible - anything after those 3 "are flexible" - but i have to add some that i personally love using after 20+ hours of testing her - or else ppl might be curious why i the "full build" is only 3 mods haha
@@The0neMemory I get what you are saying about people running around and not staying in or near your circle. I'm just saying that having 2 range mods literally makes the range part of the transcendent mods useless. More skill duration could be argued for because, like you said, people don't like to group. I would contend that a 5 sec vs. 10 sec buff duration isn't going to matter if they are on the other side of the map. But yeah basically all you need for support Luna is MP mods and some hp and Def mods. I agree anything past that is personal preference. I was just putting my opinion out there so people can see what some alternatives there might be.
@@Tetsu4ever yes - the first 4 are basically the low budget build without any activator or catalyst and you can add or upgrade anything to your liking after those - the range mods will benefit a potential noise surge (her dps mod) build while also adding some quality of life to her support build luna is a very decent character for newer players - making bossing with friends or any premade groups much easier and even let you tackle harder bossfights with ease - i would call her the new meta for ability based characters - same as enzo is the meta for weapon based groups
what do you mean duration only effects the enhanced version? Each buff clearly shows duration of both normal and enhanced are increased by duration mods. On my Luna Exciting Sound (red buff) lasts 9.8 seconds and Enhanced Exciting Sound also lasts 9.8 seconds. Not only that but Duration increases the length of time each song plays per activation which is VERY important for your enhanced ones. Again sticking with the enhanced red buff, I can activate it and have the song last for 9.8 seconds granting all my allies a large damage and crit buff, then when it runs out their cooldown of 9.8 seconds begins giving my allies a total of 19.6 seconds of the enhanced buff
Since you don't care about Cooldown, why not use the "Maximize" mods alongside Skill Insight and Skill Concentration. In the lab you were doing a third of the damage you could be putting out.
I honestly don’t understand all the hate for Luna. Personally, I find her really fun to play because I think her mechanics are si refreshing. Probably she could “need a buff”, but honestly don’t think they should change her mechanics at all. Adding more soundtracks would be really cool tho. If you find her hard just practice her if you’re willing to play her lol. PS: I would like to add that this comment comes from someone that plays in OG Xbox One, so my fps are garbage constantly and messing my rhythms, I know how tedious it can get.
Quick heads up on the support build. Her max range is 250% of base and she achieves just shy of that with max stacks Nimble Footsteps and Skill Expansion, making your Maximize Range a dead mod in that build (it adds something like 0.3m total before you hit max). For support you really want to scale your MP for the teamwide skill power boost, so I'd recommend swapping that MP Accelerant or something.
This is a common misconception. Nimble feet has 20 max stacks, and you get 10% range and 1% speed increase for every 2 stacks. So it's a 100% increase in range and 10% increase in movement speed at max stacks. It's not 200%. I could be wrong, but that's what the mod reads.
@@RhizonXXVII You're right about Nimble Footsteps but you're wrong about Maximum Range calculation and the stats screen. A 250% increase is overcapped by Maximum Range and Skill Expansion alone. For some reason the stats screen lies and doesn't include base range in calculations, this is the case for both the tooltip hover and inventory Info screen. Luna has a base of 100%, which means an additive 92.3% + 94.4% would put her at 286% which is above cap (it doesn't say you're at cap but you are). You can test this in game by putting on both mods and seeing your ring is the same size in the lab with Skill Extension + Amplification Control + Frugal Mindset as Skill Extension + Maximum Range for 146.1% additive range. When bringing in Nimble Footsteps, I was actually wrong, we hit cap earlier than Max stacks. We only need the 60% range from it to hit cap, which is 12 stacks.
@@rdubyeah Thanks for that 👍🏾. I didn't know. I only use skill expansion and amplification control. That's around 147% range increase. And if what you're saying is true, I'm only 2 stacks away from hitting the cap. So either this is a bug, or they really should say it caps at 150% (20m). I wish the movement speed was 20% at max stacks instead of 10%, but it's nice to have a slight speed buff so I can keep teammates buffed easily. Do you go for duration? I tend to go for a bit more damage on her unique weapon instead. Don't particularly see the point since you just need to keep teammates in enhanced circle to buff them.
@@RhizonXXVII Yeah the range calculations are bs, basically the tooltip doesn’t account for base ranges and the stats info screen that shows “range: 2x max” is just something they put for all descendants. As an example if you have a 200% range cap and put on 200% maximum range, with a base range on 5m you’ll see “15m” show up, but that’s actually just what range is adding to the base, so the real range of the move is 15m + 5m base which they ignore - so in game you’d be 5m over the cap once it adds that. For a 250% descendant (that isn’t Luna cause she has Nimble footsteps) like Viessa, I use a maximize range level 7 + maxed skill extension to hit perfect cap. On Luna I just use skill extension for that reason and let Nimble Footsteps do a bit of work after. Mine isn’t too built but I 100% prioritize MP, getting to 600 MP before Arche Concretion has stacks. With Arche fully stacked I think it puts me just shy of 800 i believe which is insane skill power increase. Then I squeeze in a bit of duration cause i wanna make sure my dmg buff is basically permanent on people, but I do think I’d slot in gun dmg if I built her further. I feel useless when people don’t understand my buffs lol.
Her max range modifier is 250%. Her base range is 8m. Nimble footsteps should provide you with a max 28meters (not 24 like stated in the video) combined with maximize range and skill Expansion after like 5 or six stacks. Both the mods only get you like 22 and some change meters.
Why build duration? Duration only affects the teammates if they aren't in your circle. She essentially acts as a mote. Build as much range as possible. Also your flex slot should never be used for cooldown. Cooldown only affects how fast you recover from a missed note. Once you're good enough it doesn't matter.
Duration is good because it allows you to keep multiple buffs on your teamamtes simultaneously, especially for enhanced buffs that you'd want to last because they are very strong. And the most general reason is that it gives you room to breathe
Octavia is just so much better designed with a horde shooter in mind. With Luna i find myself missing a lot of her notes because i have to concentrate on everything going on all at once all the time. Its very overwhelming to me. In single boss fights its fine but when a lot of enemies are around me i just can't concentrate on anything
Haven't seen a single video of someone mentioning how useful passionate sponsor is on her. I'm doing like 100k per hit before even having any crit mods whatsoever
@DonyeWump don't know if the firearm atk affects it but the skill modifier should definitely be affecting it cause my dmg ramps up I believe from 40k to the 100k
What about maximizing her MP? Her buffs scale with a % of her max MP... So if i want to go full support, isnt better to run Enlightenment, Agony and MP Accelerant? Algo MP Accelerant gives you more duration on her buffs.
I find her very hard to play in any mission that has a large amount of enemies that swarm you all the time without her damage mod. Without that mod i find her pretty much useless in everything except interceptions because i have a hard time concentrating on enemies while at the same time having to concentrate on hitting the notes. Its just a sensory overload for me and i just can't do it

People shitting on Luna left and right, meanwhile she's among my top 3 favorite characters to play. I spent 15 minutes the other night with an Ultimate Lepic, boosting his skill to 3-shot hard mode Dead Bride over and over. Got through about 13 patterns within that time period. His skill crits were hitting for 6+ million damage a tick (neither of us were optimized). Tip if you want to play Luna: She's best used as a straight team-buffer. Boost skill range (tops out at 24m radius) and max MP; you can use mods that sacrifice skill cooldown and skill power modifier, as neither are important for her as support (cooldown reduction only affects your cooldown upon failure to activate a skill, not the cooldown after successful use). Start with your 4, max out your inspiration, then use your 2 for that 50% crit damage and 35% crit chance boost. Let your teammates wreck everything in sight. Use your 3 to help your teammates recover MP, alternate between that and damage until your 4 is ready again (unless you're boosting only AOE/massacre Gleys, then stick to damage), and repeat. I've gotten pretty positive feedback from my teammates, especially Lepics. She's damn good if you fully commit to the support role.
I thought it would take a couple of hours to farm her but i got all her parts under 2 hours. So now I wait till the research completes then I'll try her out.
I tried potent collector on her and it works as well. When mobbing you will keep stacking quickly in or out of her 1 .Meaning you really dont need cool down for ability swapping but just to kill
Hey KmF, off topic thought here. Arche Acceleration looks like it speeds up casting speed, a la Natural Talent/yellow shards in WF. I haven’t messed with it yet and I don’t know if any TFD creator has either. Others have said it doesn’t have a noticeable effect on animation speed but does affect skill range. You think that’s a viable mod slot option on some descendants? I was thinking Enzo so far because his animations shine too much imo. I’ll try it later when I have a chance but I figured you might be the perfect creator for this.
I have been using arche acceleration to speed up the #2 rocket. They go further and faster. I prefer the additional speed of them. Haven't seen it help with animations though like activating perfect support #4
@@Phantoms4 thanks for the heads up. I’ll max one to try it out anyway. Viessa is my favorite character for everyday gameplay so maybe I’ll try it on her. It should give more range on her 1 and that explodes with proximity anyway. I don’t know if it’s worth a slot but it’s got me thinking.
@mikeD1234 It won't increase the speed of most aoe abilities ex. Bunny 3, but it it will increase the speed of almost every descendants single projectiles ex. Enzo rocket.
@@maxamillion3278 I was talking about the actual animation speed but thank you for your feedback. What I mean by that is how long a button press takes to take effect. I used Enzo as an example because putting his 3 and 4 up feels terrible.

hey, so just a quick one your incorrect about the duration modifying your enhanced skills. its modifying the duration a buff lasts on a player after they leave your radius/you change note. that 7.1s is on both the enhanced (for ally) and normal (for ally)
Does it make sense to weave the MP and attack buffs? Do they both last for 14.5 seconds? So should i be switching songs every 7 seconds to make sure everyone has each going, for example? Or when I switch does it completely kill the old buff? Every guide I see never mentions this (or my eyes glaze over half way through and I don't pick up on it, lol).
From my experience playing as a descendant getting buffed by Luna, the buffs she gives others stick around for a bit even when she's stopped using her skill. Taking advantage of that for example, a Luna kept up both her red and blue skill buffs on the team for the majority of the map in Sterile Land Block Kuiper Mining for example. It's really solid.
I don't remember which guide I was watching but they did cover this. They do stack so you can weave them. I only remember because they stated that they try to keep 2 up because when they tried to keep all 3 going (I don't remember how they could have done that with the CD's) that it added to much to juggle and the risk of mistakes outweighed the benefit of keeping all the buffs up. Something like that if I remember correctly.
You mentioned she grants allies movement speed at 14:50, but it doesn't say that anywhere in the kit. Is that an underlying buff that isn't covered in text, or a misspeak?
@@darthmacabre8311Not the question. Nimble Footsteps is very specific in that it only gives Luna movement speed, not your allies. In both the mod description as well as in the Skill details on how Vivace is applied. It only applies to Luna.
We should be able to mod her special weapon just like in warframe with Exalted weapons. Back in the day of warframe, Exalted weapon stats were tied to melee/primary weapon mods.. at least do this so her weapon actually does more dmg.
Trust me, as someone that loves Luna and wanted to main her. She's gonna have to go back in the fridge for a bit until they buff / increase her support abilities. Till then I'm just going to play Yujin, all I wanted was a dope support and they half baked this one. And yes I have her DPS mod from gluttoney, it's hella underwhelming
So she is actually good, but mostly in groups. Solo, she is like a harder, less efficient bunny for mobbing and terrible at soloing bosses. Her group buffs are insane, someone else had a little math done, and it basically is like having 7 Lepics with her 2 enhanced skill up when you are grouped with 3 Lepic players.
Yes, idk why people think the support character is suppose to out DPS the DPS characters she’s ment to be in a group she shouldn’t be expected to solo hard mode bosses
So im guessing the module you was useing at the first min allowed you to move while useing her full power skill Edit: it noise surge i had type this at the first min lol
Cooldown reduction doesnt even affect her skills. it only affect her skills when missing the skill itself on the note(it decreases the malus when missing). Support build should use 3 MP Mods to maximize her mp because all her buffs scale off of her Max MP. Also ive yet to see someone testing the actual weapon to alter the unique weapon dmg wise. EDIT: Also allies get the buff when they are in the ring constantly and the timer for the duration of the buff starts when they leave. It would be smart to mod her so you can easily keep the both buffs up even when switching constantly between them. Also i think its not worth to build a flex build on her. if you want to dps. build or get any other descendant xD
@@KnightmareFrame You said twice CDR is relevant when it isn't. But to be fair you did also mention it isn't relevant once. Those 4 dots are under everyone's skills and just an appearance thing but have no actual function; they don't fill. The bar under mp is what fills when hitting notes for her other 3 skills. You can just shoot her gun as you need it for dmg or the bottom gauge, skipping notes is completely fine if there is nothing there or you lost timing.
@@shadowcurse8824 Yea lol I realized that after swapping to my other my other character. I never really paid attention to those until Luna cause I thought that was new lol
why do all of these luna builds not have the new ultimate mod that came out. It can increase you max mp by another 30% and 60% def when you get all the stacks. She gives more skill power based off of her max mp so you build as much mp as you can.
You can combine 4 transcendent mods and hope you can get it from there. Thats what I’m planning to do, cause I’m not making it to gluttony any time soon…
The problem with Luna is players are going to get spoiled very quickly by her buffs. It’s going to really suck not having Luna in your group after getting used to her.
What he doesn't say is only if your godly at this game and have everything farmable easy you can't use Lunas mod cause it's off only gluttony and can't reroll it at all.
I tend to run primarily attack buff in normal boss phases then CD after boss gets back up from downed states since the idea is to zerg while they're down.
@@Paolini_18 Sort of. So long as they are within range the buff timer resets until they leave range. Max duration is 14 sec iirc. So long as that buff is up or she’s an ace on her cycling it can be done to my understanding.

The point of a video game is to have fun and enjoy. Bunny is fun. I care more about fun than skill. I'll never get players like you who act like they are high and mighty because they play a character that takes skill or their perceived perspective of skill. It's a video game, not the Olympics. This isn't even a Esport/competitive game either. Who cares imo
Not true! thieir all good in different ways! Bunny is not my favorite to play before you misunderstand me. But she, like all the others, is like a loaded gun! And as you say, any brain-dead person can pull a trigger, but can they hit the mark! You gotta have skill to do that! She's all powerful when dealing with mobs to some extent, but try soloing her in the last wave, and she'll get her shiny ass hand to her! Not to mention the later Collossi! But it can be done if you have the skill!
Hai - if Im dps luna, why would i not , perhaps, run singular specialist (instead of f.o.s. , since CD isnt particularly an issue) & choose non attribute master (rather than non attribute specialist) for both an overall skill power increase & a non attribute skill power increase, granted at a lower percentage on the latter?
Thats ultimately what Im choosing to go with. I calculated all of the numbers, that of course show “raw” damage numbers, not taking into account enemy resistance - but they hit higher dmg numbers on the high resistance lvl 100 enemies in the lab, so would then hit even higher on anything else.
There is no point in running anything that boosts singular skill power/power modifier, because her singular skills don't scale with skill power and don't have modifiers.
Her one does doesnt it. I stacked Mp as high as possible for buffs and skill power idk if the firearm atk helps her one damage as well.but ik mental focus procs when I shoot with my stat stick
So, when they move more towards firearms like their dev notes say they are, this descendant is not going to be that great of a support if she only buffs skills?
Its infuriating to get a clean frame of the mods without the cursor opening something else. Before explaining why you use what you use let people see whats on the build
how are people insta spamming her skills when mine on beat still has a 3 second cooldown? also how are people moving when using an enhanced skill when she legit is stuck in place for me?
I wish they just copied Octavia and let people customize their meme songs. I want a red mod that takes away the autoaim but make it do bigger dmg(and be able to aim for colossus ragespots), probably scaling off both weapon and ability dmg like gley(but not as good since rate of fire obviously won't be a factor). Call it expert focus or something.
i wouldn't even consider doing an infilitration mission without a sharen. Chance at double the rewards is a god send, but at the same time i only player her on private because there is always that bunny or lepic that will ruin your stealth.
Videos like this are helpful, but I just started Luna, and I've upgraded her with the Catalyst once so far. The frustrating thing is, I don't have most of the mods you have. So at present, your video does me no good, but causes frustration.
You have to have her dps mod and you have stack the meter so you have time her abilitie over and cover till the bar at bottom is max and it will activate the stage that she float on that so dps

Fun fact Maximize Skill's cooldown penalty only applies to the cooldown if you fail to activate the skill. Adds more damage than either Non-Attribute mod. Same thing for Maximize Power. I wouldn't go for crit though like this guy did though.
@@jasonhartman6092 the thing is if people love doing 1 thing - it is running around and if you play luna in random matches you might be sure that ppl "know when to activate their skills" but they will do hell before standing all around you - especially in boss fights where being stacked together can be quite annoying....i just love having that big range without having to worry that it depletes over time - a personal preference..but the mod types can easily be replaced with a more defensive option if one prefers that - hence why i ranked max range mods as "lowest priority"
as for "more dmg on support luna" nah not worth it - really not - your dmg doesn matter...your buffs matter and that you cling on boss parts matters
But yeah the core of the build are the first 3 Mods mentioned - they are a must if you want to help your team deal most dps possible - anything after those 3 "are flexible" - but i have to add some that i personally love using after 20+ hours of testing her - or else ppl might be curious why i the "full build" is only 3 mods haha
I was just putting my opinion out there so people can see what some alternatives there might be.
are all these mods maxed?
@@Tetsu4ever yes - the first 4 are basically the low budget build without any activator or catalyst and you can add or upgrade anything to your liking after those - the range mods will benefit a potential noise surge (her dps mod) build while also adding some quality of life to her support build
luna is a very decent character for newer players - making bossing with friends or any premade groups much easier and even let you tackle harder bossfights with ease - i would call her the new meta for ability based characters - same as enzo is the meta for weapon based groups
Probably the best explanation video I’ve seen. Also shows how powerful and useful she is! Great video!
what do you mean duration only effects the enhanced version?
If you find her hard just practice her if you’re willing to play her lol.

luna always throwing it back
Quick heads up on the support build.
@rdubyeah aren't you cap at 600 mana, how do you get 800? Is arch acceleration breaking the cap?
Her max range modifier is 250%. Her base range is 8m. Nimble footsteps should provide you with a max 28meters (not 24 like stated in the video) combined with maximize range and skill
Expansion after like 5 or six stacks. Both the mods only get you like 22 and some change meters.
The range is caps out at +200% even if the skill descriptions said its max expandable range is +250%.
how to focus on the minigame when she is moving her @55 like that!... focus boys!
Octavia is brain off bliss and i love it. Luna is way more try hard than I like in my tfd characters. She definitely cool but not my style

What about maximizing her MP? Her buffs scale with a % of her max MP... So if i want to go full support, isnt better to run Enlightenment, Agony and MP Accelerant? Algo MP Accelerant gives you more duration on her buffs.

I'm writing this down, solid advice! Long Live Luna!

Nimble footsteps, her support transcend mod.

Luctavia is so fun to use
The problem I see with Luna right now is her red DPS module, it is very difficult to get and even more so without the Kayle glitch
Gadly I got 6 copies of it yesterday haha
So im guessing the module you was useing at the first min allowed you to move while useing her full power skill
Edit: it noise surge i had type this at the first min lol

So I am really trying to learn luna, so the four little bars under each ability how do you fill those? because I am hitting my shots when they get into the middle but I never see them fill up? and regarding her notes should you be shooting all the notes constantly or is skipping some, okay?
Those 4 dots are under everyone's skills and just an appearance thing but have no actual function; they don't fill. The bar under mp is what fills when hitting notes for her other 3 skills. You can just shoot her gun as you need it for dmg or the bottom gauge, skipping notes is completely fine if there is nothing there or you lost timing.

I recommend the "Maximize" mods. As you are correct, cooldown doesn't matter, and they give you the highest return.

Bruh i cant even get her lol. Been farming for 2 days for her and so far got only 1 piece... but got 4 ultimate bunny codes.. ridiculous 😂
i recommend watching a video by hakei, he has a rather good video detailing how to get her and i was able to get her in a couple hours
I got her in 2 days🤷🏽♂️
wow
Ehh. I couldn’t actually play her, same as bunny. The kit looks interesting, but I don’t like the persona at all
hello it's possible build Valby ultimate for farm / boss / dungeon please ? =3
luna is basically a bootleg bunny or a bottom tier support
IMO they made her too complexed I think there's only going to be a small niche of people that want to deal with all this lol
Sounds like a skill issue
@@theblackviperog2398yep and niche is fine. Kind of like lol with yasuo diehard fan or dota with meepo OTP
I honestly wish TFD would stop taking Warframe ideas and making them worse. They could've just given luna the auras. Then time her other skills to get better buffs, but playing easy mode DDR on top of running around. Trying not to get killed. Just ain't it.
Well. Don't play it then
@@SiillixPlayssuch a terrible argument. There are glaring issues with this char, none that make her unplayable. But certainly unenjoyable in certain situations. “Don’t play it then” is such a terrible argument when she came out in this state.
i can’t play her everytime i do her unique weapon my screen glitches out does the same thing with enzo but not as bad
Disable the Nvidia Boost and it fixes everything.
octavia is much better
everything in warframe damage wise is better than this game
Yes, in that Octavia is perma invis and kills everything ever all the way to level cap.
But also No, because Octavia is boring as all else to play.
