Our first try was at Veena Stores. While I tried Idli and Vada there, my friend Vimal enjoyed Khara Bath. I enjoyed the crispiness of Vada while idli was superbly tender.

We then travelled to our second food spot - Sri Raghavendra stores. From Raghavendra stores we tried chow chow bath. A clearly distinct taste of contrast from Khara Bath and Kesari Bath captured me there.

It was then time for some dosas. For trying Bangalore's special Bennai Masala Dosa we went to Malleswaram Dosai Corner. Dosas were not in its attractive shape, but the taste was better than many other dosa centers in the city. However, I would love it more if it was in the right shape too.

We had idlis and dosas. Now what about something in between these two? We went to Brahmins' Thatte Idli in Malleswaram to try idli that's in the shape of a small dosa. Well, this one is much like Kerala's Ramesseri Idli.

To conclude with our breakfast journey in Malleswaram we decided to go for some traditional desserts. We wanted to try Holige and the best to try Holige in Malleswaram is obviously Malleshwaram Holige Mane. I went for dates holige (kharjura holige) which was super yummy.

Hello sir I'm Kevin. I'm a malayali born and bought up here. I would like to give some best restaurant suggestions.
1. Imperial restaurant Vasanthnagar( must try chicken kabab & ghee rice.)
2. Truffles ice and spice multiple locations ( must try All American cheese burgers xl size and multiple choices).
3. Koshys St Marks (mg road).( must try the best sandwich and appam and mutton stew and different breakfast foods).
4. Coner house ice cream parlour( must try Hot Chocolate Fudge, Brownie Sunday & Apple pie) multiple outlets are present.
5. Nagarjuna or Nadhanna palace( must try their Andhra meals, Andhra style chilly Chicken & Hyderabadi Biriyani).
6. Byg hennur (its basically a pub. You know Bangalore has the higgest pubs in asia. You must try their north indian cuisine, pizza fire baked and Craft beer or different type of mocktails its quiet expensive and the biggest pub in Bangalore which can accommodate nearly 2000 members and worth for the ambiance).
7. Absolute barbecue.( this place is amazing).
8. Hole in the wall cafe. ( its at kormangala). ( must try is waffles, pancakes and Their special English breakfast). Try going there for break fast.
9. Shivaji Military hotel. This a legendary Maratha cusinie its one of the best mutton dishes you get.( must try donne briyani and i prefer all the dishes there).
10. Savoury restaurant they are available in multiple locations. ( must try their arabic kebabs and chicken mayo sandwich, pepper bbq, jumbo shawarma etc).
11. Cafe tulp ( Best burgers.)
12. Karama in Frazer town ( best arabic and Turkish food).
13. Alberts bakery ( must try mutton samosas & Khova naans).
14. Empire hotel ( their chicken kababs, chicken and mutton raan Biriyani and chilly chicken).
15. Al Amanah Cafe at Kamanahalli ( must try their Kudu jumbo rolls and Al Amanah special rolls).
Cream Chemistry ( must try brian freeze icecreams).
16. Smoke the sizzlers ( Must try Buffalo chicken wings & their salads and steaks).
17. You can try Mainland china or chung wah( best Chinese food in town).
18. Sky dining.( but very expensive).😅😅

Dear Ebbin, I spent a good part of my formative years in Bangalore in the early 80s. I would suggest you visit Koshys for a sumptuous liver on toast and a Spanish omelet with filter coffee, Not to forget Mavalli Tiffin Room and Vidyarthi Bhavan, Not, to say the least, visit Tiffanys also. It is more than 30 odd years since I was a regular at these joints, Hope they maintain their excellence

Lockdown stuck in RR Nagar,Bangalore. Can't get to Malleshwaram. I miss the Halbaai, Ragi and Akki Roti at Halli Mane. Jowar Dosa, Salem Sambhar and Vada and Ragi Idli at Udupi New Krishna Bhavan. The meaty delights at Al Bek and Chandus. How can I forget Goli Bajji at Janata Hotel?

Hundreds of Indians have lost their jobs, people have died because of COVID and some because the doctors were too busy to treat non COVID patients. The latter happened in our building. Some of hunger. As I write a feeling of Onism, Nodus Tollens and Occhiolism has engulfed me. This seems like a cozenage of nature and legerdemain of fate orchestrated by the Chinese.

I did my 11th and 12 ( We call it PUC) in a college called MES College which is on the same Cross road where Veena Stores is situated. We used to jump off the Bus at the hump right in front of Veena Stores, relish the breakfast ( mostly Idly Vada or Khara Bath (nammude uppumaavu)) and then walk all the way to college. The taste at Veena Stores is simply unique. It is just a small store and people enjoy their food on the foot path. But it is really worth the wait and the standing. Veena Stores is the USP of Malleswaram. I still visit it even now whenever I pass Malleswaram.
