To everyone coming here for the title, just letting you know it is fucking CLICKBAIT. Yes, Cooper left the cinema after 45 min, but he said he did it not because the movie was bad, but because he had a lot of work and wanted to give it the attention it deserved. Cheers

    • @AndromedaD
      @AndromedaD 6 лет назад +9

Maybe, but think about it; he just said that it wasn't engaging enough to distract him from his real life work. He still cares about the story and wants to see what happens, so he's going back, but still... Or at least, that's what I read into it. I'm going through the same thing with the prequel novelization sight now though, where, fuck those guys, but I don't want to be lost in later stories in case it gets less sexist or racist or boring.

thekidplay09 How is the title clickbaity? It only says he walked out of the film which he did. Doesn't say why. If the reason wasn't juicy enough for you too fucking bad.

SJ Cohen Yes, I consider it clickbait. He did say he left the movies, but the problem here is the way the title is worded, one might think he left because he hated the film, when that was not the case. Basically, the show is using the fact that many did not like the movie to insinuate with the title that Cooper did not like it, so people click on the video. It is misleading. Nothing necessarily wrong with it, of course, I was just letting everyone know in the comments that might come here thinking the wrong thing. Cheers

Yeah and it barely takes up 10 seconds of the video. #clickbait I'll save everyone the trouble. He walked out because he had a lot on his mind and realized he wasn't giving the movie his full attention. It wasn't out of protest or because he thought it was bad.

When a person leave a MOVIE Theater in such way, logically it means he obviously didn't Love it.
If he had love the Movie, he wouldn't got up and leave in 45minutes into the movie.
The movie just wasn't interesting enough to hold his attention to remain in there basically
another way of saying it, so he wasn't paying attention to it. So he will probably try it again
when he can just focus his attention on the movie better.

Kensei007 The Last Jedi deserves negative attention. It worked really hard to garner it (by going out of its way to mishandle, misdeliver, misfire and blatantly squander all of the expectations that The Force Awakens perpetuated). Therefore, it's more than deserving of criticism and hate. I'm a firm believer of giving credit where credit is due. I applaud The Last Jedi for being the colossal failure that it worked so hard to be. 👏 👏
Nice job, Rian Johnson. You will be forever remembered as the self absorbed failure who made Star Wars all about himself (instead of the fans). In this sense, it will always be remembered as The LEAST Jedi. Rian Johnson deserves his name to be forever etched on the Hollywood Walk of Failure.

They have the attention span of a gnat, because they want to pay attention to something for a longer period of time at once instead of breaking it up into smaller amounts of time? Sounds about right.
Also Kwij Gaming, yea I don't get why they do that in the first place. I guess they must have done the math and they make more money on average that way, but it seems counterintuitive to me. The youtube algorithm has consistently been on a trend of promoting longer form over shorter content for a few years now. They're literally already making a full tv-show, which is definitely long form for youtube. They could just chop it up into the monologue, 1 video per guest, and then 1 more segment they choose per show, and they'd spend less time making these videos and they'd get promoted higher by the algorithm. It seems kind of hard to believe that the amount of views you gain by splitting up the video overcomes all of that including paying editors more hours to edit more smaller videos.

Oh and let’s not forget Kilo and Rey. Could have done without those parts as well.
And what was with the cute animals? Completely threw me.
Like you said, there is a bunch more to criticize and the movie seemed completely removed from the stars wars universe as a whole. Still didn’t hate it though, I just don’t really see it as Star Wars movie....

Anderson, I had to laugh! I'm half French and live in France and the "bah" is so true. You can use it in many ways. The "bah ouais" is our equivalent to "duh". "Bah", by itself is our way of buying time because we don't know what to answer. Which is telling about star wars 😂

French here too : I guess it's more likely "bof !" (equivalent of "meh !" or "not so good") or eventually "bah... !" (hesitation) and we do nothing with the head it's simply in the flow of the conversation. More interesting than the point of vue on Star Wars you can translate in english by : "I didn't like it but don't want to loose a part of my audience on this "bof !" movie..."

I really liked TLJ, but of course I wanted Luke to kick a bit more ass. It seems that it's the generation's prerogative to break down our heroes from the past. It's not cliche for someone to be the hero we thought they were. It's not really a genre that needs to be subverted.
