“A star in your own life” is not a trademarked phrase by Nia as far as I know. It is a saying that has been around for at least the last 45 + years. I hear it growing up on multiple occasions. Nia could have heard Abby say it over the years and copied her.

Abby has changed so much (for the better) since prison and her cancer. I love her personality and humour. I also have to say, why should the dance moms "give her the shoes off their feet" after all, im pretty sure I heard one of the moms say that they paid Abby 16,000 a year for classes for their daughters plus she had income from the tv channel and she treated them all, except Maddie like shit. I am pretty disgusted with Melissa for not being there for Abby and for not allowing her daughters have contact with her. They got all that they could from her and ran. Not very nice.
Ann O Brien there probably a good reason why they wont talk to her. Chances are it was a legal issue.
She made their lives miserable too. Maddie had way too much stress put on her. And McKenzie was never “good enough”
@@tonia4934 yas, I agree, but she was always negative with all of the dancers except Maddie and Melissa sat there so smug and didnt have a problem with it. The point I was making is that it was wrong of melissa n maddie not to check in on abby while she was ill.
Do you not remember Abby saying to Christi, I think it was season 1, and I quote " For 250 bucks a month? Go somewhere else"
This was in response to Christi moaning to Abby that Chloe wasn't getting as much if a chance as Maddie. When Abby said to Christi she paid 250 bucks a moth for Chloe she didn't deny it.
@@clairemcfadyen90 ok, but im pretty sure one of the parents said they pay her 16,000 per year. That could have been Melissa, she was paying for two plus all the privates. Im not sure.

It must be American thing because I was watching a live court case and the lady prosecutor kept using umm at least three times in one sentence. It was so annoying coming from a so called educated lady that I had to switch it off and just follow up what was happening in the case. To outsiders it seems really dumb and annoying.
It's not a word that should be used during speeches or professionally.

I would die if they took me off ANY of my meds. I am type 1 with and under active thyroid. That's a lawsuit.

Dont ever go to jail or prison...its literally chore to get your meds to you....if the nurse is sick you dont get meds, if they dont have time to pass meds you just get skipped....had a friend that just had open heart and less than 1 month later went to jail didnt get any of him meds for 2 months...Including blood thinners due to stent....absolute ridiculous. But it happens Alot!!!

I strongly believe we need sweeping prison and sentencing reform, but it does seem like prison gave her a tiny taste of what she did to those poor children all those years. Big differences being that she was getting paid exorbitant amounts to abuse innocent CHILDREN, while her treatment came when she was an adult criminal with a history of abusing others.
