Jeep TJ heavy Duty Tire Carrier & Hinges

In this video, we install a MORyde Tire carrier TJ on my Wrangler. We ditch the standard bumper-mounted tire carrier in favor of a body-mounted tire carrier. This makes opening the rear tailgate easier and more factory-like. The reason for this switch is that my old tire carrier started to develop a rattling noise that was driving me crazy. Additionally, we figure out how to properly mount a 35" tire on this system without the use of offset brackets. This keeps the tire lower to bumper and closer to the body. This keeps the center of gravity lower and makes it easier to see out the rear window.
